    I was at my womans parents last november in ottawa,i had a rake around in their basement as there was some old fishing stuff down there,i saw signs of mice and bought a few traps from walmart,every time the dad phones me he keeps me up to speed with my mouse score though i havent had any for around 10 days.

    Caught a few hawksbill turtles and they have strength despite their small size,that leatherback looks a beast,bet it could tell a tale,incredible creature.

    I got that book as a kid,i still remember taking the boomerang shaped "arms" off my bunkbed and trying to knock mallard out of the sky as they flew over washington wildfowl fence.Dan Mannix did a chapter on blowguns in that book,and if memory serves he did a chapter on hunting with serval or caracal,great read and some decent pics,theres also a chapter on hunting with sight hounds.

    Never heard of the friendly fisherman jonnie,was it also a lure company of old?Yes i remember all of those jerk bait rods and closed face reels and similar neil,theres a lot of people getting into lure fishing nowadays,particularly micro set-ups and the array of jelly lures available now,i was in a walmart a few months ago and there was a massive amount that we never see over here,i bought jelly frogs and all sorts of stuff cheap as chips.

    Harris angling no longer around mate,sue sold up and now has a eco-tourist place in central america,my mates been over a few times and fished with her. Still going with different owners but not lure orientated any more just another general shop now with the usual fox and savage gear stuff Yup,i cant remember who bought them out,i do remember salivating over the catalogues when they came through the letter box,all those pages of incredible lures and they sold a great selection of micro-rods and reels,they were before their time,or rather she was as my mate said she was the driving force behind

    Old news,a guy in the states years ago shot a bison with an airgun,the footage used to be online somewhere.Jim Shockey is a guy who has hunted in places most of us couldnt even pronounce,with a host of different weapons,he travels the world hunting for his TV program,he hea access to the best weapons from top manufacturers but 8 shots wont do anything for his rep.

    I just got a number of cheeses last week,in black wax?Feels like wax anyway,one of them is cheddar and sweet mince pie?I love really STRONG matre cheese,i once had sheeps cheese which was a very soft tangy type of cheese,beautiful taste.

    Kids of 15 have no concept of mortality,tell them they could die of lung cancer in the future if they smoke means diddly-squat,they have no concept of long term future,kids experiment,its how we learn,i remember my kid burnt his lip in a restaurant after putting his lip on a steak sizzler hotplate to see if it really was hot,i laughed my socks off,he had big tears in his eyes but he learnt a lesson.Your sis is just learning life-lessons,its natural.

    Catmaster tackle dominators come in 4,5,6 and 8lb tc but they are 10.9ft and harrison do a 10ft 6lb torrix continental catfish rodI need something small mate,the fish often run under the jetty and a smaller rod can muscle them out,i used a 10 Foot spod rod 5lb tests curve a few years ago,it was ok when they ran out into the lake but when they came at me it didnt cut it,I will have a look at the sturgeon rod and a few others,the cats in the lake run up to 330? pounds and the arapaima are much bigger,i dont want to go over there for a week long session undergunned.
