Yup,the cat in this pic wasn't even that big,a ginger household moggy BUT it sparked a helicopter police hunt after a number of people claimed it was a lion

I don't think its narrow minded to question,otherwise we would all still believe in the easter bunny and santa clause. The DNA was purportedly verified by Durham Uni,i once studied in Durham city,i will phone the Uni up next week if its open and try and find out which dept verified the DNA samples,however the fact that it wasn't the Uni themselves (but the centre for fortean zoology who are ever so slightly biased) who announced the findings brings questions,and also two other DNA samples were deffo fox.Theres just been rabbit bones found in west sussex from 1AD carbon dating and other

No mate,i wouldn't tip anything into a river,leave nothing but footprints take nothing but photos (and fish).

It would be very easy to empty that pool,but far better nowadays just to cast a line and get the odd decent sized fish,I fished a beat last year that cost £500 a day (I guest'ed at night) and had some nice fish.

Not british but scientists have found evidence of a giant lion that preyed upon elephant sized herbivores in Kenya,it weighed up to 1500 Kg,thats a big cat Pic shows its jaw-bone compared to a modern day lion skull.

Theres a polar bear hunt at the moment going for $15,000+$5,000 for the internal Canadian flights to get to the remote outpost,polar bear hunts are normally $45,000.

I am not mocking either,i am asking pertinent questions,vets who agree the saliva DNA is leopard,which projects abroad a british "expert" worked on etc but until they come up with a gin-clear pic taken in the british countryside they shouldn't expect to promote this toffee without getting a bit of joshing for it,i have an american friend,i posted his pics here before,he gets trail-cam mountain lion pics regular on his land,surely it cant be that difficult here given the number of sightings?

The dog had been responsible for four previous attacks,but that could be sensationalist gutter-journalism,the boy was left alone with it in a caravan while his mum and the dogs owner were partying.,this is the dogs owner.

Nothing has actually came to life though,i always had an interest in cryptids,a deep interest once,but with every false alarm and fake story its becoming less and less likely that theres a cat never mind breeding populations wandering around in the wild here apart from the very occasional escapee.
