    Went to see a collector of interesting stuff last week,he told me about his tiger skin that he bought from kajiji a Canadian local selling online site,a bit like Gumtree in the UK.He found a tiger skin on there,a lady was house clearing her deceased grandfather's home,and was selling the old man's possessions,he had worked out in the far-east and had associated bric-a-brac stored in the basement.The bloke who showed me his collection bought the tiger skin cheap,like really cheap,and showed it to another collector,it's not your average tiger skin he discovered,it's an extinct Javan tiger.Yup,I

    Turkey tastes dry,I don't really like it to be honest,there's loads around,not uncommon to see 3 or 4 flocks when going into town,it's thanksgiving in a fortnight so everyone will eat turkey,Turkey hunting season starts tomorrow,the turkey I photographed will vanish to reappear when the season ends.

    I think you would enjoy it,here's half the shop,I entered the door and took a pic of the left side of the store,the right side is fishing equipment and clothing.

    I was in a Tim Hortons last week and they were playing a radio station and an advert for Bass Pro came on,they actually mentioned bow hunting,you would never get that in a UK Starbucks or McDonalds.

    My son went to the badlands in Alberta last year to one of the worlds holy grails for fossil hunter Drumheller,he actually watched a professional paleontologist clean a fossil in the dinosaur centre. I bought my lady a fall jacket the other day with a dinosaur logo on and saw a similar mini dinosaur later that day in stone.

    There was massive amounts of beef,pork,chicken allsorts really but I just liked the layout of the charcuterie.

    They are great lakes fish gaz,numbers are huge this year,bang some pics up if you get a decent sturgeon,I know some lads from sunderland who fished the frazer river at chilliwack and got some big fish.

    Australia is a long way off crime free Juke,comparable if not more so with the rest of the western world,just because they aren't all running around like ned Kelly doesn't mean it's crime free.

    Where did your dad source his weapons from Greg?There's a few militaria fairs at kempton park every year,I normally pop in when they are on if I am back there.

    History,that's fascinating,I really like that,where did you buy it? The flag would probably have high value to collectors,no deals on that sort of thing in a bidding war. Shrunken heads are increasing in price.

    Been a few sold at auction Greg,most auction houses won't touch anything associated with the fuhrer,but some will,normally fetch a few thousand quid.Black silk ones with crimson swastikas would be worth far more. The gut who I was with yesterday's mentor was a real Indiana Jones sort,huge collector and trader in unusual antiquities.

    Can you ask him for a photo mate?The bloke I chatted to yesterday buys and sells stuff historic items just like that,it's macabre but there's a market for it. You could have put them on your head and goosestepped about a bit doing lili marlene on the karaoke while pissed on schnapps.He also had Adolphs wine glass and has been to the wolfs Lair.
