    The irony of the article is the smuggling gang arrested in the article I posted (all foreign nationals)were smuggling illegals OUT of the UK. Border "Farce" aren't fit for purpose.it needs a massive shake up,but then I think it's just going through the motions and in reality the UK is sinking under the weight of illegals.

    Walked over an old bridge this morning checking a river to fish tomorrow,the pools contain thousands of Salmon,I need maybe another 10 for the freezer,it's officially the first day of autumn.

    I think I gave him a tenner or twenty quid?I think his good lady was the instigator of the hustle, I chuckled afterward, as far as scams go it was low level tugging on the old heart strings lol.

    I think a good analogy Walt is 100 rabbits a night on the lamp, or running the Waterloo Cup, it's got to be experienced, very few people would turn down a chance on rabbit rich ground or running their dogs at altcart legally back in the day, this isn't a carp lake where the fish have individual names, this is the north American salmon run, stuff I dreamt of as a kid yeehaaaaa.

    I have fished for salmon/sea trout alone and with mates loads of times since I was a kid Walt, but this is next level and should be experienced by anyone with an interest in anadromous fish, it's totally different, if this is thousand bird driven day then yup, count me in, but there's no comparison in my eyes, this is a true fishing experience.Having salmon for tea.
