  1. If you can shoot a springer, a PCP is like well erm..... easy peasy It's the people that buy a pcp and then go on to buy a springer that have the problems! Tony
  2. That would be a video camera you daft old banjo playing redneck yokel cuz of mine
  3. Excellent, loved seeing the Deer The first pierced ears I got was because it ducked just as the 2nd stage went off, the slapp of the ears sounded so loud! Later on the little bugger came out of another grave and I got it in the noggin What rifle/pellet combo are you using? I;m guessing .177? I love studying ballistic wounds etc, you can learn a hell of a lot. And the pellet striking the wood at that angle suggests that the pellet hit the base of the brain cavity at the front and bounced upwards and backwards. Tony Fantastic footage

  8. You should know by now Rabbit Curry does that to you Bill :tongue2:
  9. The thing kept leaking (if I remember correctly), had it replaced same happened. Apart from that, he loved it for its accuracy. I've not heard of the problem happening to many people though, think he was just a tad unlucky with his. Tony
  10. Hi Dean, Yes resize to something like 640x480 and you'll be fine. Nice gun, not for everyones taste and a friend of mine had a bad experiance with them but if its working it'll be great Very accurate indeed As for the darkside, no not yet, pcp's are more grey'ish HW100's are the darkside Tony
  11. Give him a chance Bust, he's still a newbie! He'll get into our twisted funny ways eventually I thought it was quite a good un for a newbie
  12. Thanks Daz, I'm hoping to get out next Wednesday/Thursday. We are forcast some crud weather up here as well, so I'll get soaked to the core tomorrow cycling back to Brough, but at least with the high winds, I should dry off comming back up the sodding hill! I'd take the gun tomorrow but I reall don't fancy shooting in 30+ MPH winds and driving rain. Tony
  13. Archie, 200 Bar according to the manual, but my baby's sweetspot is 185 down Actually I know each gun has its own slightly different Sweet Spot, but I wonder if there is a marked difference between a .177 and the .22 version? Tony
  14. Unlikely your pump will show ft/lbs Willum. The 16joules is the Maximum Power Output of the gun for the UK market I charge my baby (S200) up to 185 to 190 Bar approximately 2,700 PSI Tony
  15. Spring guns are, by their very nature loud, much louder to the shooter because your ear is so close to the stock and the sound of the action carries very well to your eardrum. Both through your ear and through your cheek and bones. It may just require a strip down and relube to reduce or even stop the 'Twang', but it will still be loud to the person firing it You can dampen it to some extent, but you will never fully silence it. Regarding cleaning the barrel. Get some baby wipes or even strip of old rag, thread a piece of string/fishing line with a loop at on end down the muzzle (of
  16. They certainly are Would'nt go above 11.5 ft/lbs though or you could find yourself on the wrong end of the law unless you have an FAC. Most airguns in the uk run well below the 12ft/lbs limit and are more than adaquate for our purposes Tony
  17. Class I would have used this version Simon "I bet you must be so proud of yourself. Off to track down and shoot some weak, defenceless animal!!!" "On the contrary madam...I replied, "I am offering you a two hour head start, and I'll go that way if you go this way!" or how about! "You don't seen to be weak and with that stick you sure arn't defenseless!" Tony
  18. You can either upload to something like Photobucket and copy the Img code into the post or resize your images to a smaller size, I put mine up at 640x480 pixels if you need help with photobucket, drop me a PM and I'll guide you through it all Look forward to seeing them Tony ps: Do us all a favour? take your caps lock of as all capitals is classed as "SHOUTING"!
  19. Fecking classic Darryl :11: Sounds about right, somone once told me I was cruel because I kill animals, then asked why I shot rabbits when I can buy one already dead from the butchers Tony
  20. Excellent work as always you two I bet you two have more acreage in permissions stretched around the country than most of the royal family on all their own estates! Must be the soft Geordie accents and the sheer fecking tenacity that you use. For those that don't know these two Darryl is the type of guy that would get stuck in a 50 mile trafic jam on the motorway next to a field, just as the farmer drives past in the landrover, jump out the cab waving a perm slip and ask the farmer for permission, get it, note the gps co-ords get back in the cab and carry on down the road. Tony
  21. I'll probably go with............ ........... To be continued in 2012 :11:
