  1. All second hand stuff purchased through a business comes with a minimum 12 weeks (three months) warrenty by law! If it doesn't then trading standards would like to hear about it Tony
  2. Don't be so harsh RA Did you know that most of the Webly's are now made in Turkey by none other than "The HATSAN ARMS CORPORATION" In fact one of the most accurate of all the intro target pistols is called the Webley ALECTO Nearly all plastic polymer and they are an absolute dream to shoot oh and they were both designed and built by Atac Arms who are a Turkish company Its all well ang good people slagging off the chinks, turks and other foreign manufacturers, but the fact is that even the most prestigious companies (not just airgun makers) are outsourcing to China and other foreign nati
  3. In my S200(.22), the top three performing pellets are: 3 FX pellets 2 RWS Superfields 1 Air Arms Field's (5.52mm) The cheapest are the FX (round these parts) and they increased the grouping by almost 3mm with a 5 shot one hole group at 30 yards. Tony
  4. Have one myself, but due to falling in love with the incredible accuracy of my S200 (and being a lazy git) I don't get out with it too often! Last time I used it was last year, really must put more effort into taking the 19 out! Tony
  5. Mike, The Edgar Bros Mod 55 and Mod 60 are made by Hatsan Arms Tony
  6. Thanks Wedge, After one of those mounts myself, but have seen some that will fit on a 25mm scope and hold camera on top. My scope is 30mm, tube. Tony
  7. According to CGP's database H&N FTT's are 14.8 Gary. So using that the optimum is 28.9 yards with a PBR of 6.9 to 32.7 with a secondary zero of 10.9 yards. Using 14.6 the optimum is 29.1 with PBR of 6.9 to 32.9 and a secondary zero of 10.9 Tony
  8. moley me old mate me and that program just dont like eachother lol my scope height is 1.75" pellet weight 14.3 on x10 mag mtc say my best zero range is 30 yards what does chairgun say ?? atb gary 28.9yrds ??? seems my cg is diff to yours phantom lol Seems so! What version are you using? Mine is Chairgun Pro version 3 release 1.0.5a Strange
  9. Chairgun says optimum primary zero 29.3 yards and you'll have a PBR from 7.0 to 33.1 yards with a secondary zero at 11.1 yards Gary.
  10. If you can find the HW95 for that price, go for it As Mike say's a truely Superb Rifle Edgar Brothers are decent, but the trigger is heavier than the XS19 and a little bit rough as well, but after a while it smooths out somewhat. I've not used the Gamo that you mention, so can't really comment on that one. Tony
  11. What energy you getting at the muzzle Gary?
  12. No we use variouse adaptors from home made to specially manufactured clamps. The term used is A'focal videograpghy Tony
  13. I was just about to say the same as Si Unless of course your using a 1st focal plane reticle You daft bugger, for getting the basics eh? Almost as daft as me Tony
  14. I woudn't say they are the very best for the money, (especially if its an earlier version) have a look at the Edgar Brothers range etc. You may even find a decent 2nd hand springer in the sales section here thats already been run in. I love mine to bits and I used to get very good results with it. If you do go for a chinese rifle register here http://ukchineseairgunforum.myfreeforum.org/index.php you will be suprised how many of the names you will recognise from here. They are a wealth of information about virtually every chinese rifle ever made Tony Tony
  15. The Bam's are the ones sold over in the states, as are Westlake. The early chinese were notorious for being crap, I once saw a pic of the muzzle of one of the early ones the bore was about 3mm off centre!! Modern chinese ones are now far superior to what they once were. Bit like the early Japanese stuff, known as 'Jap Crap' now look at the quality they put out.
  16. I went back the following morning Stealthy, there were charlie prints in one of the molehills.Today before I sprayed my silver silencer black I saw blood on the end of it! That means that my muzzle had touched the missing bunny! He was talking about a bike. As soon as he mentioned it, I thought my luck was in for a Ruger Air Pistol I went out last night on a new bit of land, very heavilly lit by street lights up top but down where I was at the bottom of the embankment, it was almost pitch black. Saw loads, but my night time ranging over new land was absoluely appalling Probably
  17. Well £20 for that and the bag aint too bad then, But as I said after 7 mag mine got milky but for eneral daytime plinking and knocking off bunnies it's fine apart from low light. It's by no means the best on the market, but I have seen worse. If your a new shooter, it'll get you started but eventually you will want a far superior scope, but they cost a fair whack more than £20 Tony
  18. Is it a fixed mag scope? If it is what mag is it and what size is the front lense?
  19. Depends what you wish to use it for. My first 3-9x40 mildot was SMK and great until I zoomed in past 7mag, then the image became a bit milky. At the lower end of the mag, the image was great! The higher mag was usable during the daylight, but at night had difficulty with it even at 3 mag. The fixed mag scope that I had was far better at coping with lower light. Tony
  20. And thats exactly how asbo's for scrapping should be enforced! They won't be causing any more grief for anyone Nice one Albert, who needs a pertner when you have a more than reliable rifle? Tony
