  1. Its quite normal for a silencer to change the POI when fitted to a gun. And yes it can be thrown out by inches My S200 was pinpoint in the bull at 35 yards with the AA Silencer Put on a custom made job and POI shifted by over an inch left and 2 high. No clipping at all. Reset the scope's zero to take the new silencer into account. Not looked back since custom silencer is superb Phantom
  2. After yesterdays torrential, I thought the bunnies may be out for a play and a munch. So I headed off to the cemy this evening to see if they'd let me join in with them Got there, had a quick zero check in the secluded part and 5 pellets all in the bull told me my baby was sweet. I began my initial recce and feck me the little fluffy f***ers have been out in force!! Fresh diggings everywhere. These lil vandals are trying to make me look bad!! Whats worse was I got close to the lotties at the side and the old guy started yappin . Eventually got away and noticed a pair of e

  5. I'd have one if I had the brass for it Phantom
  6. You don't say what silencer it is? If its easy to stip and clean, give it a go (cant see it taking long) you nothing to loose by doing so Phantom
  7. Hey Davy, Did the package arrive today? Phantom
  8. Yep, I've seen them used exactly as a bivvy shelter. I am thinking of using it as one when it gets darker, so I can lay up in wait (use my sleeping bag to keep warm on a roll mat) and pull an all nighter near the biggest warren. I'm going to have an adaptor made so I can use the NV video cam A-focally on the scope When it gets quiet I can have a kip, ready for the morning barrage of lead to feed the bunnies Phantom
  9. Reckon it would have been better if I'd still been there, A Cammo ghost
  10. Well guy's After being stuck in the house all ruddy day due to it raining on and off, when the weather began to clear up I decided to go bop some bunnies. Get to my verbal permission and look over the gate :search: , dozens of little fluffy fresh meals hopping around Usually when there out in force like that I'm in for at least one every 30 mins in the cemy (which backs onto this land). So I carry on, go into the secluded part laid my poncho on the deck and check my zero at 30 yards. I had pumped the gun up before I set off so I knew it would be out. seven or eight shots later the p
  11. Good going Do you cook the squizzer and woodie? Phantom
  12. Sweet, Although 'Kylie' for a HW100? Helga maybe but Kylie Phantom
  13. Just found my A-focal adaptor that I use for astro-imaging with my big telescope. Thought about it after I saw a post by Scuba about night vision. Would be easy to hook up my Camcorder with its night vision facility for a nights massacre at the cemy But sadly the lens ring is the wrong size but I HAS A PLAN and a friend who has a great engineering, workshop Phantom
  14. Ummm... I'm gonna have to try a bit of A-Focal photography (only ever done it with my VERY big scope before, but its way too heavy for my gun and pod). Did you use your phone Davy? Phantom
  15. I would have done if it wasn't on the main road. With a Plod Shop a few hundred yards away. Phantom
  16. Nice going Davey, (cocky git) :tongue4: Yeah I blanked! Went out, only saw 3 bunnies, one on an embankment (where there are usually at least a dozen) and two in the field next to the embankment (that place is usually crawling). Guess its getting cold now and they don't want to keep warm playing dodge the pellet. Boring feckers aint they? Phantom
  17. Sweet I missed out on some good permission about half hour on the pushbike from me A guy on the bbs wanted to do one of his relatives a favour and shoot bunnies, he was too far away and a guy from Beverley beat me to it by minutes urrrggh!!!! Still I've got the cemy to do for now and perhaps a much larger one on the horizon BTW, your little permission sounds like twice the size of mine Enjoy and dont forget the camera. Phantom
  18. LOL, Tell me about it! I've been trying to get up for some early morning bunny bopping for a couple of weeks now! Only time I managed it it was too sodding windy. I'll just have to keep trying, but I have this habbit of telling my alarm clock to shut the up and let me go back to sleep. Yet in the early and mid summer, I can be up and dressed before 04:00 Phantom
  19. Cat food, is allways a good one keep it in the tin and the lil feckers cant run off with it, they have to stay and eat!, peanut butter as you said is another good one. Quite a few people liquidise cat/dog food and squirt it up a good backstop, again stops them running off with it giving you ample time to take them out Phantom
  20. Welcome to the forum buddy, Look forward to hearing more of your exploits. Well done with the 8, I'm still awaiting my first flying rat. All I seem to be getting is Zombie Bunnies Phantom
  21. Hey Buddy, In this wind, you would have to be a bloody good Marksman and know exactly how your pellets are effected by the wind. I was tempted to go out for an hour or so, I know I'm a competent marksman (but I acknowlage I am far from being the best!), but with the wind being so high, I figured it was a waste of time I would either wind up missing the quarry, or wounding it, the latter is of course unaceptable. I'm hoping for better weather in the morning Phantom
  22. There you go, cash only buddy Well you never said it had to be dead did ya? Phantom PMSL!!
  23. Over the last year I have purchased and sold numerous air guns, all carried by the Royal Mail. Phantom
