Then its perfect for what we need then I mean how many of our quarry aint Field Targets apart from the ones I shoot in the Cemy, they are CT's and the ones that get shot in the garden, they are GT's My S200 was originally designed for paper punching, but they stuck on a scope instead of Dioptre sights, increased the power from 5-6ft/lbs to 11 ft/lbs and hey presto its a superb hunter Come to think of it, didn't the HW100 start off like that as well (I could be wrong there of course) Metal, paper or bone they all go down the same when the lead hits the spot Must admit t

Hey Jac, The PT80 is a great little plinker Best advice I can give is put a little drop of Pellgun Oil on the tip of the bulb of the Co2 but only do this once every 5 or so bulbs. The Co2 bulbs will give you about 40 shots before you notice a drop in power. I used to leave the co2 bulb in over night, but that is about the limit. Regarding Ammo, I would suggest D&N (or RWS) Geco pellets Dirt cheap and accurate. Then the very best advice would be to Joint the Umarex Boys Club Forum and join in with our 6 yard Comps http://umarexboysclubforum.myfineforum.org/index

The Beeman is a Chinese copy of the HW40 and is a good choice for a cheap pistol. Its a superb target pisto for the 6 yard and 10 Meter comps and yes at PBR it will put a pellet through a Bunny's skull and finish off a wounded animal. I would suggest though something of a larger calibre though such as HW45 although it's expensive, it will take the knocks and grind of everyday PC and last a lifetime It also has 2 power output levels so has the advantage of being able to transfere the appropriate level of Kinetic Energy on a Rat (lower level to avoid pellet exiting) an a higher level for a tou -

Large on me is small! That kit is a very good buy really for people like us that are on a tight budget should last for many years. Guess your brother will have to grow into his kit. The bonus part of that kind of gear is that the lining will nuetralise any body odour so it wont stink But Please remember Chris, DON'T let your mam stick them in the washing machine EVER! It will ruin the machine and your mam will batter you good and proper In fact tell her to read this post, then your covered! Oh and dont wear white shirts underneath the top! They come out rather grey!

Git!! My laptop aint gonna last too much longer, the amount of coffee you and Bill make me spit all over it! Brilliant write up Stealthy SPA I once saw a little one chasing a young bunny down the road near the Church in Brantingham. It was only as long as the bunny's hind leg! Phantom

I wear goggles Now theres a sight to see -
Yep destructive little gits aint they. They destroyed loads in my shed including a couple of £400 and £500 scale model boats not that the value got to me, but the one of HMS Bounty was started by my late father in law and I was tasked with completing it. Mice chewed it to sawdust and p!ssed all over it. somewhere on here is my photos of what a .22 pellet does to a mouse when its stood up against a steel backstop trying to lick strawberry jam off the backstop. Very messy I eventually found a tiny little hole in one corner of the shed, so I filled it with broken glass then covered it

Not going to get many pix of air pistol hunting on here, well not from decent hunters anyways. Air pistols in the UK are limited to half the power of a max legal power non FAC rifle. Most air pistols are not accurate enough and most only put out less than 3ft/lbs. Sure some of us use them for finishing off a less than perfect shot, but I'd say 99.99% would only use rifles for hunting. Phantom -
Mice They make great targets Them lil shitting machines are what got me into hunting They look brilliant too with a .22 AAF shoved at high velocity through their back Phantom
-
Yep, luckily for me I was warned about putting hunting gear in the washer before I actually got around to it. Modern washing powders are a killer for your hunting skills Softener is also to be avoided as it smells good to us, but is like a huge warning to our quarry Phantom

Sod that for a lark Bill, I have a daughter and for a fiver, she says she'll sort em for me as long as I also agree to clean out her fish tank Phantom

Yep agree Bill, Guns are Crazy, but the ownersare even more so RiffRaff gave me a few hundred H&N FTT's to try in my baby as he and the guy who owned the rifle before me used to use them in it and they got very tight groups with them. Everytime I went for a tin the shops had none Anyways, I put these in my top right breast pocket as they were loose and I had a tub of FX 16 Grainers in my lower right pocket. After filling my gun and preparing it for the impending train journey I decided to stick my hunting gear into the case as well, never know might knock a few live ones ove
