  11. But you and I both know we can not seriously compare the trigger of an alecto to the Rhom, Tau or Bruno can we That would be like comparing the Steyer trigger to a CP99 co2 job! Phantom

  14. I thoroughly agree with what you are saying there Pointer regarding newbies and Dirty Harry. What I am saying though, is a Rat, being such a small creature, has an amazingly fast hearbeat any injury that causes trauma via an open wound will cause the rat to bleed out within a matter of seconds. Add to this the fact that the shock (however mild) will also cause the rodent to turn toes up. A friend of mine saw a Rat that had migrated into his property from his next door neighbours Aviary. He threw a hand garden fork at it at just over 9 yards. It litterally clipped the rodent in the hind quat
  15. Yeah Shannon used an S200 too I won't go into detail as to what she did with it but the girl's got shooting talent and to add to the talent she also has obviously got a great shooting mentor and teacher Aint that right? When I met Gary, his Geordie accent was very deep and I kept saying 'Pardon' for a few sentances until I got to the point I could understand what he was saying properly, Sorry for that Gary, I just had to tune my ears to master your accent Phantom
  16. Wish I had been Bill, more to the point I wish I was now. 18 cans of Stella that night on top of the six pints I supped on the way down there I should have been totally ratted But the thing about my op means my body dont deal with it like it should so I was stone cold sober Had to have a couple before I shot the comp though, but only because they were cooler than the water As for the High, that went when I said g'bye to everyone and returned to this fecking reality. Had 4 blazing rows with the soon to be ex wife since I've been home and why? cuz I.... oh feck it I wont go into that
  17. He won't giva favourable answer to that, because he can't shoot one PMSL Seriously the Alecto is very very accurate. The one Niel has had his mits on was not performing properly and was venting the air at the top end of the power. Phantom
  18. Thanks Bill, Next time if I wind up in a shoot off, I'll make sure my air cylinder is above 100 bar Seriously there were some very excetional shooters, one especially who had only began shooting a day or so earlier and she scored 37 Talk about natural ability Okay she had Si as a mentor and coach and Laura insisted her score was down to the gun, but it was her that was aiming the thing; Laura was squeeezing the trigger and keeping it steady till the target dropped If Laura had nailed the Bell Target, there would not have been a shoot off as she would have nailed the trophy w
  19. Thanks Bill, Sadly its not so good to be back to reality. Took me a couple of days to get back to normal sleepwise. From the Friday morning, till the Sunday night, I had around 3 hours and a couple floating in and out of conciousness due to Heat stroke Now I've come back to Earth with a bump shame you couldn't make it this time around, perhaps next year Phantom
  20. Air Arms S200 Perhaps I'm a little Biased but for that money you get Olympic accuracy and Killing Power Phantom
