Hi Marti, Yes thats the LED. Seems strange there is a fault, there's not that much to go wrong with em, but I guess there is always one or two that will slip through QC. Contact the seller, like Matt said, perhaps the seller will send another out to you without having to send that one back? TTFN Phantom

Is it the sh!tty brown stock or the nice Italian one with the checkered grip and forstock? I've heard good things about them and fired one a couple of times a year or two back. Must say it made a hell of a bang when the pellet hit the oil drum at about yards (BIG oil drum) but it did take out a metal knockdown at 35 yards. Should be okay, only thing I would suggest though Steve, before you go trying to knock over bunnies, practice on paper first If your not used to a springer, your gonna need some paperwork first Enjoy Phantom

Hey Wurz, http://cgi.ebay.co.u...216724689915388 Thats the set I got. Been chatting to Davy last night and he has a red led unit that runs at about 220 lumens. Its my guess that the Red filter will drop the 300 lumens of the white led down to not much more than the red led unit. I was considdering buying the red bulb unit myself a while ago, but these worked out cheaper and gives me the option to use green when its foggy (aparently works better in fog, dunno how, but we get a lot of fog round here during the autumn and winter so I will be able to put it to the test). You can also compare the results with the program you have on your phone to get a better idea of what mag that program uses. Hey Bill I've read this thread with interest but have to admit that when you put up the Concept drawings I really wasn't too keen on the looks especially the lip at the front of the forend. Now I've seen the finished product, my mind has been changed, you have done a fantastic job Bill Very well done indeed. Its also good to see a carpenter that still uses a SpokeShave most people these days wouldn't have a clue. Nice one Darryl Mark, I totally agree with what you say regarding Range As long as the marksman is up to standard, there is nothing wrong with that kind of range. I stuck to 30 to 35 yards until Si came along and proved that longer shots were possible with an airgun I then began pushing my skills on paper first and now I can drop bunnies easily out to 65 yards (66 yards is my own personal best in the cemetery). Sooner or later, I'll be back in the paddock for longer range paper punching, then when I'm confidant I'll be taking longer kill shots. Phantom

I know that Rabbits see in monochrome hence they feel less threatened by a red light. Now the first thing a bunny picks up sight wise is movement especially from bright objects or solid objects (which is where DPM helps so much) Dillan and I were discussing the use of lights and IR lamps and we both came to the conclusion, that rats and rabbits in fact any animal; can rely on any light source to cast a shadow behind them. If this shadow moves (like when you swing your lamp around) its effectively a dark solid shape moving next to them and they will bolt. Phantom
