I've had many memorable shots, I dont have a season as such as I shoot all year round. I've had two bunnies with one shot; a 66 yarder, a perfect long range head shot on a woody up a tree; its mate in another tree at silly close range, the result of that gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "a nice bird sitting on your face" :11: Think over all my most satisfying shot was a small chalk disk at 45 yards a few months back. Another memorable one was last night, just before speaking to Zini on the phone. Cover was thick and although it was only 29/30 yards all I could see under the l

Sounds like yaw'l had a load of fun SPA for the enthusiastic write up Took me a while to figure out what you meant by minxs though I looked it up on Google and there are some interesting results shown when you turn off the "Safe Search" filter Then I realized (on a suggestion from google) that you meant Minks You should have shot the bugger Phantom

Nice work Stealthy SPA for another great post buddy A lot of people could learn from your attitude to the police I'm the same and have had no grief whatsoever from them. Yeah there are asswipes among the force in general, but I believe that even with one of them, if your polite and offer the info without sarcasm or attitude, even they can't carry on with the "I'm the Law, your the offender" attitude for too long. I know the military are trialing them I am certain that at military sniping ranges with such guns as the Barret etc over huge distances it will prove very worthwhile, at nominal AG ranges though I'm not so sure, even after watching Nigel Alans review of the cover. I won't be parting with £20 though as there is an inbuilt version on every scope (no matter how cheap) that helps (when used correctly) elimiante Parralax Error! its the image that you view. If you have a slightly non circular sight image, your eye is not lined up correctly. The real advantage of this device is that it can hel

Davy is a TRUE Gent as are a few others on here There are a lot of people that will agree with what you say Hunter, He is a fantastic bloke. One of the very best he is :notworthy: To Davy Phantom -
Nothing wrong with the one your using AA pellets are a very good general "All Rounder" very few guns/barrels dislike them. All the guns I have owned have had very good results with them. FX are another brand that very closely match the AAF's and I now use them 9 times out of 10 because they are a little cheaper well over ten tubs I save a tenner Give them a try if you can get them. Thanks guy's, your comments are very much appreciated Went out for a while last night only bopped one but it was a lovely shot from the pod. Perfect switch off, 16 grain through the Cerabellum Due to the cover I could only see a redish/pink strip of ear twitching and a little red glowing jewel so a little "Educated Guesswork" was in order. No jump, no twitch, not even a wave g'nite. Just a roll over and nothing Shot landed just behind the ear at the base. I When I went to recover the bunny I got back to hear my phone Buzzing. It was Si so I spent the next half hour yapping to him and

After a long teadious day archiving many of my CD's onto a portable hard drive along with other more stressful events of the day I decided I needed a break and needed to go let of a bit of steam. My new charger had arrived in the morning, along with a bunch of spare batteries so I now had something to get my lamp working again. A visit to the Cemetery was in order me thinks, grabbed my gun, my dpm and off I went. Pellets in pocket gun in slip I set off walking My wife had seen 4 Police cars parked on the corner of our street half hour earlier and I wondered what they were up to.

:11: I was out in the cemetery last night for a couple of hours. Bopped my 1st bunny then went to sit on the bench in the new sector. I could hear panting behind me but the only thing behind me (as far as I was aware) was the conifer hedge and a deserted street. Well at that time it should have been deserted. As I moved to look under the hedge there was a sort of "Howling Bark" Don't know what kind of dog it was, but it scared the crap outta me and I think I scared it as it ran off . I didn't see the owner of the dog, so I'm guessing it was from further down the street, perhaps wan

The weather is looking crap, the forcast says cold with a breeze but no rain. My replacement charger arrived today along with 3 sets of batteries (already charged) I've charged my own up. Now question is do I go out this evening to batter some bunnies, or do I stay at home and sit in front of this thing archiving all my CD's onto a portable hard-drive? Phantom
