Well done Steve & Dan I certainly wouldn't have had a word with the Poachers; well not without my Kevlar anyway I know 1st hand just how nasty 'people' can be Especially if they are carrying anything that can be used as a weapon You did good ringing the Police and letting them tackle them Must admit, thats some clever shooting 8 bunnies that you didn't point your rifles at, nor did you load em for em :11: ATB guy's Phantom

Nice Shot Deffo a 'hard to get close to' piece of Quarry Well done Phantom

Now you can't blame your old man for putting that up on here after you put it up on FaceBook I'm with the guy's above Phantom

That's it, get the priorities right! Probably better getting a bottle, it's far easier! Yep my gun landed using me as a cushion The FX is a great pump I know you have a bottle already dont you? If you know someone willing to drive you, then pop to the dive place at Hessle Station to fill your bottle. I don't think you'd get away with lugging one of those around on a train (unless you put it in a holdall so it couldn't be seen) Phantom

Hey Bill, I'm going to put the butt on tomorrow just to see if it feels better (assuming its the same shape) I have an adjustable one from RiffRaff but its the wrong shape Oh well, we'll see Phantom

I'm not bad thanks Snaring has its place, as does all other methods of control/culling. I'm not convinced that a rabbit will have a pinful death or indeed a drawn out one. If a snare is done correctly and as you mention is at the correct height etc... The rabbit will pull the snare tight, thus ensuring a reletively quick death because the brain becomes deprived of oxygen. Granted there are occasions when you go out to collect your snares and quarry and you find one still alive, but in my own experiance of snaring, I've not found one alive yet. It's a bit like the professional multicatch

My plans have just changed Ratting with Dillan Phantom

Good luck, Thinking of taking some wires out myself this evening. Don't really like using them though unless desperate as they are a little indescriminate My last catch in a snare was a surprise to me, luckily it hadn't panicked and I was able to set it free without anyserious affects. I still see here in and out of Mrs G's house and garden. Luckily I now know where she goes and where not to set them. Phantom

Hey Bud, 1CM Groups are bloody good as long as your using two or more pellets per group  :11: Sorry couldn't resist that one  Thats excellent I went out last night, couldn't hit a barn door if I were sat on the latch. Damned Ranging in the dark Yet my accuracy was not a problem shot an apple off a tree by hitting the stalk and it just dropped down at 30 yards, no problem. The bunnies were out in force last night and I missed EVERY ONE And as if that was not bad enough, while wading through nettles hip high, I fell down a big fecking warren left leg first

I'd agree usually Matt But not round here early hours they didn't Paddock 1 bunny out, Cemetery zilch, bunnyland zilch (now thats a rarity!) Even had a look at the hocky and footy field, nowt; not that I have permission there Even the ploughed field nothing! I counted 35 last week in that field alone (again not got permission yet, but I know he wants them bringing under control, its getting hold of him thats the hard part) Hoping that they'll be out earlier this evening, rain or dry! Phantom
-
Eventually went out Early hours for an hour and half. Got totally sodden to the core and BLANKED again, Seems the fresh ferret food had more sense than I and stayed tucked up warm and dry below ground Still there is always later I can't blank 4 times on the trot can I Phantom
-
Wayhaayyyyy, Nice result Darryl Them Rats are propper Rats! Looks like the 100 was a worthwhile investment even with the milage involved Phantom
-
Sounds like everyone that went out last night scored apart from me Davy'll probably do the write up Bill, but your right Its nice to have different views of the same hunt, so come on Matt get your finger bouncing on the keyboard buddy, lets hear it from your eyes as well Phantom
-
Nice one Marti Yep, it can be very hard work getting permission; then as you mention and has happened to me; it can be handed to you on a platter Enjoy and don't forget the camera Like you say, People who don't have it, don't be shy, and more importantly don't give up trying. It will pay off eventually Phantom

Sweet its still chucking it down here I went out early hours but not a thing was out, on;ly one pair of jewels and they were near the A63 way too far out given the wind and rain (about 70 yards) I didnt stand a chance of getting near as the trees are loosing the leaves and I was heavily backlit Still there is always this evening and I'm not gonna blank a 4th time running! Phantom

Nice one Andy I'd forgotten about those I only ever saw one and didn't know it was an AA model. Thats my thing learned for today then You can get a rough idea of parts from http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24240&cat=Sidelever%2FKhamsin There not bad prices and I can't see too much damage being done maybe something as simple as the piston washer has disintergrated after being dry fired and not been used for so long allowing the piston to move further foward and jam. Phantom

Nice one Darryl Did the rat have a sore arse before or after you shoved a pellet up it

I've just been out to see if there's a break in the clouds, it hammering down Superglue hurts like f k on an open wound and the stuff the medics use aint the stuff you get from loctite I know a Heroin Addict that had his belly slashed right across by a dealer He turned up one day at work for the nurse practitioner to have a look, he was in a right old state, his muscle was not cut, but the fat was. He'd tried a bottle of the superglue that you get from the quid shop He needed surgery and over a week in HRI to sort that mess out as he'd gone without treatment since the previous Friday

I wasn't impressed with that film Never said I was a HCH and my trigger finger can't handle the trigger on my springer until its healed up properly or I get a GRT for my XS19. I'm sooo tempted to wait and see if it stops raining, the leak is a very slow one, takes a couple of days to get down to 75 bar from 175 think I'll stay up and wait see what happens, cuz I need meat for the kits

I know, but I'm bored and aint got a bitch to make use of (Guns & Roses, Nighttrain) Nor have I got the right seal for my baby's air cylinder I was thinking of going out but its raining. Is there a devent flick on the box?
