  1. Not too bad actually. The one I shot did the bis on metal knockdowns at all the standard ranges from 8 yards out to 45 with no worries (AAF's) and they have enough power to knock over bunnies at nominal ranges Just cuz their made in China does not mean they are substandard I now have two Chinese Rifles now as well as my AA-CZ-S200 (British Company selling Chechoslovakian (sp?) Rifles as their own). Phantom
  2. Oh BTW John, Welcome back Where yah been, France Phantom
  3. Only in RIp OFF BRITAIN eh :11: Its amazing how many people actually do that on eBay and don't notice it and then wonder why they are not selling them It creses me up when they have then on auto relist for 3 or 6 months at a time getting charged for the advert. Phantom
  4. I don't believe there is such a thing (but I could be wrong on that) I would get some of that fast setting Araldite past or whatever it is from Wilkinsons' Bung it into the hole and then screw your stud into it and leave to set. Should work and will cerainly hold fast for as long as you have it Phantom
  5. You Lucky Lucky git erm Man Nice landing that piece of land Phantom
  6. That land looks superb for a weekend hunting trip and party Nice going Davy, lovely post n pix That squizzer looked tasty didn't it Phantom
  7. Hey Matt Apparently they are much easier to peel when they are warm I cant wait to get one in my mouth to taste, apparently they are superior to bunny Phantom
  8. This is the one I use and have done for over a year now Better light throw than the LedRay, a fraction of the cost and virtually identical in construction. Why pay 3 times as much for a name plate? I'm in the same boat on the money front and have been for a few years now I highly reccomend them Have a look around and you may find a set complete with charger. If not then you can purchase a charger with a further set of 6 batteries for something like 6quid. Or if your feeling flush (well have the few extra quid) then Stealthy put up a link to a X-Verminator for about 30 quid.
  9. Well done Mike I thoroughly enjoyed your write up as well As you say, there are quite a lot of Doe's at the moment that are pregnant I dropped a young Doe in the Cemetery last week, she had 5 yery young ones inside. Still six for the price of one I won't complain The weather at the moment is still pretty warm and bunnies are able to breed all year round, but they tend to breed less when the weather is very poor and food is in short supply. All the best Phantom
  10. No just Bi***ual (Gunual for you mucky minded gits) Phantom
  11. Hey buddy, Glad you had a decent little jaunt I can see your Mrs S, now the head down, raised eyebrows, arms uncrossed, one hand round your throat, the other placing the Gamebag on your head and tieing the strap tight around your neck then turning you round forcing your head and shoulders down into the boot of the car while she places the 100 firmly up to the butt in your butt saying, I've told you once, I've told you a million times, its not a fecking game bag! Now get this boot cleaned   SPA Phantom
  12. The S200 Owners Club gains a new member We'll soon be out numbering the 100's clan Can I borrow your missus for a few months? I'll even trade you before the divorce comes through if you want Mine made me sell all my pistols a year or two back to pay for xmas And it was her that made me give up shooting 20+ years back, so your wife sounds like a dream Phantom
  13. Thanks guy's Red Just read the email, a MASSIVE THANK YOU Sir :notworthy: Enjoy your day out with Shay and remember, If I can help you out at all, just holler Phantom
  14. Welcome back Shay I like the look of the O/U, not a fan of Side by Sides:no: And that little .410 would look very nice in my arms As I walked to my permission today I saw a bunny laid out next to the fence of the cricket club, it had a fair few holes peppered in it And I am possitive that this particular piece of land will not be cleared for anything more powerful than a sub 12 Air Rifle as its boarderd by two very busy roads and almost always has standing traffic on both due to the traffic lights, on the other side there is the cricket club which has a housing estate next t
  15. Hi guy's, I took the good weather today as a blessing and went out to have a play with my XS19 Springer as some of you know I've had a spot of bother with my baby Before I went out I took the trigger guard off and unscrewed the trigger pull weight adjuster all the way out, in the hope that it would make the trigger a little lighter as my fingers just refuse to heal for some reason. So I got to the paddock and took the beast out of her slip, she is a fine looking rifle really and I must say I have actually missed holding her close and putting her through her paces, she provided me
  16. Cheers Archie I remembereed reading that in the book I'll get a pic tomorrow if I remember and see what you think, I would describe it as between the two that JD mentions! But its not at the fork of a branch its towards the end I mentioned the other day that I had seen a grey running in that direction from the new section in the Cemy. Gonna have to get my baby fixed and keep an eye out for my 1st Cajun Squirrel :search: Looking forward to reading the book Phantom
  17. Not a bad result for a relative newbie with the 410 Good Work Phantom
  18. Eyup Archie, We dunnee do that frog stuff on ere Stick t'ah Queens English so we know what yee's on aboot I had a looksee out today to see if I could see any sign's of Nutkins around the area I saw him heading for the other day. Not knowing anything about Tree Rats and their habitat I aint got a clue what to look for other than hearing them bark and seeing their fluffy arse end. HOWEVER: I did see something in the old conker tree that I've never seen before, looked like a nest of some sort, too small to be a songbird nest and too small to be a nest to the corvids I'm sure. W
  19. Hey Adam, You'll find all the replacement parts here http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24698&cat=Mk1# You can probably get the parts a little cheaper (if your prepared to spend a few days ringing around places doing your homework) , but after the service these guy's gave me, I'd happily recomend them to anyone. Work it all out and give them a call Phantom Click the image at the top of the page to get a larger image
  20. Nice read Darryl Who's ahead in the comp points now? SPA Phantom
  21. Interesting thought that. What kind of bulb is it? Volts and Amps? There will be a max rating on it somewhere I should think. You also have to take into account the amount of current (amps) the bulb will draw and make sure that the cables and switch are capable of handling it, you dont want to be out and find your switch melting when you turn it on or your wires smoking do you? I used to be pretty good with solid state electronics when I was at school, but that was many many many moons ago and I cant access that part of the brain archives anymore There will be someone on here th
