  6. Give it a bit of a rub down nothing abrasive though just a good hard rub if its very small spots. The give it a wipe with a lightly oiled rag Next time give it a dry down and another wipe with the oily rag And that reminds me, I must practice what I preach, now wheres my oily rag Phantom

  9. Nice one Gary, I do like to see people do group tests with different pellets and the same gun and compare them to same pellets same gun My FX group very, very slightly wider than the AAF's down my pipe on the S200, however when I swapped from one to the other, there was about an inch in elevation and similar in windage between the two. Now given the very tiny difference between the two pellets (shape and weight) I was very suprised by the difference. Yet in your gun, they are virtually identical results. Davy did some good pellet/ barrel comparisons too a fair while back Phan

  15. Hi again Chris, Please forgive my late response to this, I have my board settings so that I should receive all new topics and replies as and when they are made. I haven't a clue as to how this one slipped by me un-noticed. If it hadn't been for Dillan calling round this afternoon; I still wouldn't have a clue of its existance. So Thanks Dillan I feel human again now after a good long soak in the bath, a scrub and a shave and boy did I need it So far, I have been fortunate not to see any Myxie on the land I shoot at The land I have is pretty much an Island that is surrounded by

  20. I'm glad I am not the only one that thinks its along those line. I totally agree, its gotta be better than causing the stress of being shunted around in a cage. Although it is surely better to have a pistol or rifle to shoot it with. According to the law you can whack it over the head with an implement such as a 'priest' or stick, bat, boot spade etc... But you can only do it the once, so if by any chance it moved and was just clipped, you can't do it again because then the 1st time would have been cruel and torturous. Its funny how they legislators work aint it? Suppose he was taki
  21. Reading what you say and what others have said, Trading Standards are going to have a ball with them. 23. :11: :secret: I've been know to drink it when on offer too I like the sharp bite of the original, don't really like the "Smooth" stuff too much, but if its available and cheap or free, it still goes down same hole The Beck version is a tad better, but its rare we get it on offer round here. Often drink the Bavaria at 5% its a good taste, little heavier maybe but for the price, the taste is more than acceptable Phantom
  24. What do you guys think of this? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-10705958 And what are the implications for the rest of us? Phantom
  25. Hey guy's, I think we've mentioned these before But according to the BBC this morning, it seems that these are now becomming prolific little breeders in at least three areas of our country and they apparently are even beginning to oust the Grey's http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11549280?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter When do you think they will be put on the GL as a specific seperate species? I was wondering if they were a variant of the Grey but they appear not to be, however if the Grey and the Black do breed they produce Brown. When are we gonna see yellow and
