A friend of mine had one of those C cell torches. He used a couple of plastic pipe clips turned flat side together with a couple of dowlings so it would hold the torch onto his 30mm tube scope. Worked perfectly well until he got his Clulight. I'll stick with my UltraFire 300 that I got after I tried using the double AA Tesco torch, looked great worked great in a built up area but out in the field it was a dismal failure:thumbdown: Phantom

Nice shooting I used a couple of cable ties until I could afford got a proper lamp mount Never could get on with that one Then Si gave me a figure eight one, Now I won't be without it its perfect Phantom

If its only surface rust, the a tip I have used that I picked up on here was a rub down with a scrunched up bit of foil then a wipe down and a final wipe with an oily rag! Worked very well As for Air Pressure, it may have a leak or he may have just let it go below the 'holding pressure'. With most air arms models (and a few others as well) if the pressure gets below a certain number, then it will not hold the valve closed and it will then vent the remaining air It does not take long to pump it up from scratch (even less with a bottle) just be sure to open the bolt so the air you pu

Hi there I believe that in the UK an FAC is an FAC (if you know what I mean?) I don't think there are any differances, in fact I'm sure there are none. Contact your local Police Force, they will have details on their website on how to apply (our local force does). Phantom

Hey Marti, Just sent that link for you. The plastic that you get from the art shops is an acetate sheet. Not too cheap if the prices of them round here are owt to go by Was going to do same myself. I used the quality street wrapper for a while, but the filters I got are far superior as they are 'optically pure' and allow a huge amount of light through them. Phantom -

Yep the list of generous people in this section is far to long to write. When I first Joined THL, it was a totally different place, frequented by a lot of "Bad" people in this section. And thanks to the "Good" people and the Mods eventually they were weeded out and so far have been kept out As Si said, input, advice, physical gifts, meeting up with people etc.... I've been lucky with my permissions as I have people in and out of the cemetery while I'm shooting during the day and even had one the other night after dark. Of course there are people walking around that area as its surrounded by roads Not had the ARV out yet, but a van, a car and the Helicopter twice when I first started on the cemetery and the paddock. Andy I'd certainly drop the power closer to 11 or 11.5 if you really want to push it. No Darren It just means that we can't all afford them I think Daystate are possibly the "Designer Lable" of the airgun world. Electronic triggers etc.... I only know a couple of owners and they won't take them out of their cases until it stops raining. Neither are Hunters. If they were to scratch them, there would be rushing them to the nearest Harley Street Cosmetic Surgeon to repair Phantom

Nice little haul there The Litter pickers would have been useful on the R1 if they were another couple of feet in length.
