  2. Hiya wurz. Aghhhh see Can only get better mate, half the fun is the practice Bill. And if you want to make it challenging with out the scope caps on, then you can always blindfold yourself
  3. Conversion kit? Convert it from ans S200 into what? I've only seen one conversion job on ans AA S200 and that was this, done buy a friend of mine: Yes a S200 Jackal conversion/Hybrid Phantom
  4. The camera angle and focal lenght of the lense was used to exagerate the size of the rodent. I watched the reports on the news when the story broke. But no one has ever filmed one yet on that estate. It also makes you wonder where the guy was shooting? I'd hate to think he was walking the streets and shooting in them round here! Phantom
  5. no interest from my fellow Airgunners, I'll try it here http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/175642-scope-for-sale/ Phantom
  6. I know it was and yes indeed it does Phantom
  7. Very informative vid's those Only one thing I didn't like He stated that the Pheasant wasn't legal airgun quarry He could have / should have clarified that with "Because its Out Of Season" which given the time of year (going by the birdsong and foliage around) it obviously was 'out of season'. It also cleared up the use of the range markers for me Phantom
  8. cheers tony, just started rubbing the cream in... err... funny, those john darling films have been partly to blame for the break barrel so i can partly blame you buddy all the best, wurz Ooooohhhh Go on then, blame me why dont you, the wife does :11: Phantom
  9. Rats are one of the most successful species on the planet, they've been around longer than mankind and will probably be around long after we have gone! If that were not the case, they would have been extinct centuries ago! They just wise up to the danger, like most prey do Tip: Read "THE RAT; by James Rodwell" I don't claim or pretend to be an authority on rats, far from it but that guy certainly is Phantom
  10. Tennis elbow huh? Get plenty of anti-inflamatories down you Wurz and go enjoy the new girl Look forward to the write up buddy Phantom
  11. We'll never break the back, there's just way to many of those vile disease ridden rodents and they breed faster than bunnies especially where the food is plentiful If we do manage to make a dent in their population, it just means that theres more food for the others so they'll breed more because there is more food to support the offspring! If we manage to wipe out a small local population of them, then the next lot will be more than ready and happy to move in Still, keeps our target aquasition skills sharpe eh Nice shooting again, keep at the dirty rats Phantom
  12. Don't need anyone to stand there at all, just set up the camera pointing at the meter and then set the meter pointing at the gun If I had dynamite for brains, I'd be able to blow my earwax out :11: Phantom
  13. Hey John, I've just had a look at the old scope that I have, Its an old Bisley 4x32 and thought it may have matched up, I was going to cannabalise it for you if it had matched up Unfortunately it doesn't :wallbash:I would have happily sent the part foc to you. The scope itself is in pretty good condition, but its missing the turret caps. Your more than welcome to the scope if you want it? Phantom
  14. Thanks, Can you measure the diameter of the adjuster and the diameter to where the ring would go in mm's? Its possible I may have something that may do the job. No promises though! Phantom
  15. Nice to see a youngster shooting a springer @Bill Don't encourage him, I've already got more than enough competition for next years meet :11: Phantom
  16. Nice shot Good one for not taking the shot on the second What I would have done in that situation was move around very carefully until there was a decent backstop; a fence post would have done or taken a standing shot so that if the pellet had drilled through, it would have embedded into the ground. And before anyone shouts and whinges that doing so would be impractical; I have done it time and again. Sometimes the quarry bolts, other times they don't and when they don't, its plus one in the bag SPA Phantom
  17. Lovely read that Darryl Just shows how hard it is to range find in the dark though don't it? Well done buddy, pretty good sized chunks of ferret food Phantom
  18. You could try contacting BSA. Perhaps they may have some parts in their back catalogue of spares. Sick up a couple of close ups for me to have a gander at will you? Put your camera on Macro mode Phantom
