A cold soaking then a bit of cold wind may have caused it to loose too much heat. But generally seems strange. so where exactly does this warmth in winter and cooler in summer come from when its cold in winter and warm if not hotter in summer? Y.I.S Leeview Let it go mate lol. Type in Google Exhaustive Hypothermia in animals causing the animals organs close down due to a drop in body temperature, basically an animal body cant replace the heat Y.I.S Leeview

Dewclaw your group including yourself have joined moochers in the last couple of days its posted on there whos on the committee for all to read Y.I.S Leeview so let me get this right, you elected yourselves onto a committee of a new club because you felt the members of the other club had not kept you up to date despite the fact you all had the chance to be on the steering committee of this new club. is this correct or have i missed something YES you've missed a lot, the New -

OK the AWLL have spoken with your 2 members that attended the CA meeting on what they would like to happen next, a lot of bridge building has been offered to amend what has been bad management at its finest, so I suggest you leave it to them. dewclaw and sandymere have asked to speak with the AWLL they declined and will continue to discuss with trenchfoot and Skycat until such time that AT decides if a meeting is beneficial Y.I.S Leeview -

of topic but relating to ideation I worked with a young lad (his uncle owned the company) very similar background to the lad you mentioned, his last year at school he went to see the careers teacher "What do you want to do when you leave school" his reply" I want to be a drug dealer cos they have the best cars on our estate" influenced by what he saw, Could this be the answer kids mimicking what others do knowing no better? Commendable Bosun, all lurcher owners have to be prepared to promote lurchers in a favourable light and then by doing that we can put it to the CA what we want them to do, paying your subs wont change their opinion overnight about lurchers but as a member they are obliged to listen to us Catch22 unfortunately they want your membership first and then see if they'll listen to their members needs When Giro started his poll 16CA members out of 108 votes cast thats a lot of apathy imho Y.I.S Leeview -

This is what I mean about insulation, couldn't a cave be cold in summer because its underground and insulated from the heat? I believe a rabbit warren would be cooler underground than the surface temp in summer and warmer underground than the surface temp in winter. That makes sense to me but Ive never taken thermometers ferreting with me so I cant be 100% lol. OK pie-eater I agree in summer a rabbit warren would be cooler underground ..........in summer so where does the heat come from in the winter when its colder on the surface? Y.I.S Leeview

have you ever been caving or down a pot hole? they are cold even in the summer in that big freeze the dead rabbits were above ground and just skin and bones, they may of starved but most of the trees had been ringed 4' or higher Y.I.S Leeview
-
quite the opposite pie eater, in fact the victorian's used to bury blocks of ice in the winter and dig them up and use the ice in the summer, long before fridges Y.I.S Leeview
-
stevethefish a member on here dug down to a dead ferret and the other ferret was barely alive, his mate kept it alive inside his shirt till he got home, the temperature was minus/well below freezing above ground so a lot colder underground Y.I.S Leeview

England Peterborough Show The Weekend
Leeview replied to malc1's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
lets remember this was a supeream champion of champions were the dogs should of been gone over with a fine toothed Combe atb why should the dogs be gone over with a fine tooth comb? the dogs had previously been judged and given a B.I.S albeit another judge so someone reckon they were sound, the 4 judges 2of which you think marked your dog down, did the other 2 judges give you maximum points? If so I'd say you had a point OR did they find something the others did not find? the winner had won a champion of champions prior to yesterdays show under different judges Y.I.S Leeview -
