Great minds think alike eh mate ? My wife was crying when listening to the drama unfold back in May.I really cannot understand why,if innocent, how can the pair of them be so cool. If this case had been about a young couple from a councill housing estate, they'd have slaughtered them in the press,as scum. But for some reason, professional people in well paid job's don't get the same treatment. The whole thing STINKS.That poor child was neglected by them so called parent's,thats the fact, and at the moment we can only summise, the truth behind her dissapearance. Apparently, the portugese police hav
  3. Thank god,i thought i was one of a minority who don't believe its ok to leave toddlers on there own.I'm a father of three,my son is as big as me so no probs, but my babies (my girls aged 8 and 10) i won't let walk to the local shop on there own,and its about 200 yards away.Kids are precious, you just don't put them in danger.

Hey Jasper, you know that make's you a bellend, like the rest of us brainless numpty's,who think the lack of emotion on a mothers face,is kind of odd, given the circumstance's.
  6. I've a beddyxwhippet who's 7 months old.The minute she's off the lead she will antagonise either my other lurcher or the terriers into chasing her.She will just run and run, letting the other dogs get close, and then racing away from them.I take her out twice a day,for about 30 mins, weird thing is she never seems to tire or get out of breath.Ironically, she is on lead walking only this week, after straining a tendon whilst running in some long grass. I'm no expert, but i was always told that bigger heavier dogs mature more slowly ? IF i'm wrong blame my old man (god rest him)
  7. M.r1,if you had to choose a terrier based purely on height and weight, what sort of size would you prefer.

Spot on Sam,i said sommat weren't right with them from day one.I wouldn't take my kids abroad at that age,let alone leave the poor things on there own in a chalet, while they sat enjoying themselve's. If i'm wrong about her then god forgive me ,but she's too callous for my liking.

    They were called "the bodysnatchers"
  11. Theres a hornets nest at one of the golf courses i shoot on.Its in an old chestnut tree, you can see them flying in from 50 yards away, and theres a distinct whir/hum from there wings, not like the buzz of a wasp.I've spoken to a couple of the members, and they say the hornets are very docile. On the subject of identification, hornets are quite dirty looking, more a browny orange than yellow.
  12. Sorry to state the obvious Jasper 7.2 pints would be about 4.1 litres.
  13. Millet were you present when the main dealer was pouring the engine flush into your engine ? Its an old con mate, adds a few quid to the bill.Engine flush is bad news, and if used on older higher mileage engines, very bad news.I've built hundreds of engines, some to a very high spec (race and rally) never have and never would put engine flush near them.Modern oils have detergents and emulsifiers in them,so no need for extra cleaning, just change your oil and filters regularly. Most engine wear occurs at start up,if you've removed the old oil and any tar, carbon, gum deposits with the engine flush, then
  14. Hey snoop didn't you know them big bunneys are like lemmings,as soon as theres too many they all start committing hari kari. You must have some big cliffs around your way.
  15. My hobs vasectomised.Best of both worlds.
  16. Jasper,do not put that s***e near your engine mate. Its awfull stuff and should be banned
  17. Just got back from the vets, vet says that judging by how quick the swelling has gone down, and the fact that she seems to be walking well,it is almost certainly a strained tendon or muscle. No meds, but has said she must rest for the next week. The bill was £77,which doesn't seem to bad,but as always its £77 i hadn't planned on spending.Hey ho,feckin dogs eh?

"Can i have a pee please Bob",BLOCKBUSTERS. "Hey fool you aint gettin me on no plane".The A team. He man and the masters of the universe. Charlie hairstyle. Espadrills. The Youth Training Scheme. Good old Maggie eh.The f*****g Bitch!!
  19. Have just looked at the pups records,i have the paperwork here as the pups off to the vets shortly to have the leg checked. The jabs were Canigen Lepto 2,and Canigen DHPPI.I have the receipt here from the second jab,it was £16.78,that was for the jab,and 3 Milbemax puppy.
  20. SJM,another thing i'd check is your pc's capabilities. My niece is studying film and photography at college, most of the software she was advised to buy wouldn't work on the pc ahe had,as the system requirements of the software were massive.Any video or image editing will really require quite a high spec processor and memory. All the best though, with the project.
  21. I'd change vets mate.My beddyxwhippet is 7 months old, when she had her jabs it cost me £10 for the first at 8 weeks, and £14 for the booster at 11 weeks.

  23. Just got back from the emergency vet.Vet thinks its just tissue damage from a twist, she gave her a jab of pain killers and some anti inflammatorys, and she has to go back again in the morning for another check.I cannot believe how much and how quick the swelling came up,i've been keeping dogs for 30 odd years, and never seen this kind of injury before. I'm relieved, but am dreading the bill, anyone any idea what i should expect bill wise ?We were in there less than 15 minutes.
