  1. Just wondered if someone can put me right with these,i'm pretty sure there "lawyers wigs" and i'm told good eating, but i seem to remember them being very similar to something nasty? The wife want's to try them,so i want to be sure they are safe.
  2. that fert needs a manicure
  3. I use a cheap braided lead from the cash and carry 70p,i just take the steel ring off the end.I have got a proper leather lead and collar with the slip mech,i bought it at the Waterloo a few years back, and it wasn't cheap. As soon as the dog pulls though, its a bitch to trigger, thats why i stick to the plain slip.
  4. I'll dig some pics of my sahara beige mini 850 out for you mate.It was my brothers, but i borrowed it to impress a bird, and the rear subframe snapped pulling off her drive She didn't phone me again, and i had to give my brother £250 for the car,a lot of dollar in 1983 for an apprentice mechanic.
  5. I use a locator now,but as a kid it was a cat collar (ones with bells) If the ferret stayed to ground,we would back fill all the holes except one,and put the trap on the open one.I still use bells now with the locator, just in case the fert comes out a hole i might have missed.
  6. Barry White try a week in a top class hotel & i may just crack I thought you liked tents Kay
  7. That dog is a feckin mile off being right.Look at its back.Giro your spot on with your assesment mate, showing some rib maybe, but when the rib cage can be seen almost to the join with the spine.
  8. Mods, can you please remove this shite.

    LOST

Lost JD? i'll tell you what it is.B*****KS thats what it is. Edited to say Minder itv4 in 15 mins,a feckin classic.
  10. Perfect lurcher Sounds like a case of "jack of all trades, master of none"Horse's for course's.Can't see how one type of breeding could excell on all quarry.Surely you add different ingredients for different jobs? JMO
  11. Raw raw raw,but vary it a little, and make sure you give them a bit of veg as well.As for the fasting one day, some say it's like a detox.I look at it this way,if you don't put any shite in,you don't need to take any out.As for it replicating nature, dog's in the wild wouldn't live as long as your average lurcher or terrier.
  12. More f*****g ammo fer the anti's.
  13. Shower of bell ends doing most of the posting on there, but a lot of decent folk there as well,i've bought and sold a lot of gear on there, with no probs.I got barred for pm'ing my phone number to one of the big mouths on there, asking him to speak to me and bad mouth me directly, instead of being a keyboard warrior. He declined my kind offer, and forwarded my pm to admin I registered by proxy,a few day's later, and read the post's by him and his gang, telling the masse's,how they'd "sorted me out"
  14. DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUDDY BUT WHEN YOU WORD IT AS ABOVE IT SOUNDS A BIT FUNNY TO ME Feckin smart arse see what you mean though Who's for sloe gin then
  15. Out walking the dogs yesterday with my lad,and needed a pee,as you do.I wandered over to a blackthorn hedge, got me fella out,and started to pee.Looked in the hedge,at about todger height, and there was a dirty feckin rat sat watching me,no more than 2 feet from me todger Needless to say,i whipped it back in me trousers sharpish, and took a quick pic (not very good, you can just make it out in the top centre ) before trying to beat the fecker out the hedge,so the dogs could sort the dirty fecker out.Don't even bare thinking about, what could have happened Weils of the willy ? no thanks
  16. If you can hit a 10p coin, every time, then thats your range.I've been shooting nearly 30 years, and i wouldn't take a shot at live quarry at more than 35yds,and then only in ideal conditions. On the range i can hit 1inch groups at 45 yds,and pellet on pellet at 25yds,it means jack s**t in the field.
  17. She seems better now,but she's still a "little loose" in the toilet dept, but i think that may just be the rice and cooked chicken,as her normal diet is raw meat and veg.The night before she was ill,i noticed her stomach was making a lot of noise, like bubbling and churning, and the vet said she had a lot of acid in her stomach ?I'd appreciate some advice on colitis, what the syptoms are and the product you treat it with. Thanks,Bill Al,she has bones nearly everyday of the week,as she and my other dogs are on a raw diet.Vet seems to think it was from her back passage (the blood)as i
  18. lmfao The rats would piss themselves laughing when they seen that "working bedlington" coming towards them.Looks better suited to chasing teddies, and eating dooggy treats.
  19. I didn't give the dog anything,my son was ferreting,he gutted the rabbits shortly after getting them, and the dog helped itself while he was putting the rabbits in the game bag.
  20. Some feckers been looking at mine as well,Nosey b******s
  21. Wrong section mate.I've got two rattys,a standard one and a tuned one.To be honest the standard ratty isn't really up to the job of killing rabbits, unless you were stood next to them.A standard ratty puts out about 7ftlbs,however this can vary quite a lot with temperature. They are the business for indoor ratting, but thats about it.

    Help!

Vermx is good at preventing worms, but if the hens already have worms it won't help.I use vermx myself, but i've been giving it to my hens since i got them, and they had been wormed with Flubenvet before i got them.Flubenvet is good stuff, but it is aimed at commercial users,i gave up on it,because the smallest batch of feed i could treat was 5kilo's,and it would go off before my hens ate it.You can use Panacur as well, but it must be diluted correctly, and you can't keep the eggs for 3 weeks after treatment. If your hens are worm free already, then i'd suggest vermx. You can get it online for about £
