Sorry mods if this is in the wrong section.I have just been out with the dogs,the terriers and my beddyxwhippet pup were chasing each other in some long grass,next thing the pup pulls up and lies down.She never yelped just stopped and lay down.I picked her up and put her on her feet,and she lifted her front left leg and started hobbling after me,i stopped checked the leg and couldn't feel any break/dislocation.She has walked home fairly well but wont run,and now after checking again it seems quite swollen just above the joint.Should i get her to the vet or see how she is in a bit? HELP

Dobbo you should do the right thing by the dog mate.He deserves a good home,i'd seriously think about letting him go somewhere where he'll get the right sort of life,don't be trying to sell him mate,cos if he don't make the grade with someone,he could end up out on his ear again.Bill

Cheers snoop,i've had while (and a few ale's) to calm down and think about this.I know the dog wasn't at fault (kind of),but what would have happened had my daughters been on there own ?The wife (stop laughing) is going to pay the owners a visit later,and explain what happened.Hopefully they'll listen,apologise,and not let two twats in tracksuits be walking the dog without a lead in future.

Have just returned home,after attempting to walk one of my terriers,and my 7 month old beddyxwhippet.My two young daughters were walking in front with the two dogs on leads,with me and the wife 5 yards behind.We were on one side of the street,and on the other i noticed 2 teenagers with a large staff,walking in the opposite direction.The pup began barking and whimpering at the staff.Next thing the staff runs across the road towards the dogs,and then fires straight into the pup.The terrier bitch then got hold of the staff,and it let go of the pup and tried to get hold of the terrier,my wife and

I've got the receipt,but whats to stop them saying the tenner isn't from there machine.Should i phone plod,and tell them whats happened.I know its only a tenner,but moneys money,especially if you're a scotsman.

My wife has just returned home from the local asda.She had used the cashpoint there to get £20,but low and behold one of the tenner's is a f*****g dud Anyone else had this happen ? and what did you do ? She spoke to asda's customer service,but they say its not there responsibility,and she needs to contact the building society,that own the cash machine.Surely they must check the note's,so how did it end up in there ?

My beddyxwhippet has been eating raw since the day i got her (she was seven weeks old) majority of her diet is chicken wings and necks.Only raw bone on a chicken that might cause a problem,is the needle bone in the leg.

Jasper,i would make sure you only use OE (genuine) filters mate,as for oil,don't bother using a fully synthetic.Best bet is to use a reasonably good quality semi synthetic for diesels,and change the oil and filters regularly.I could fill a page with oil makes,and grades,but its false economy using very cheap,or very expensive oils.HTH's,Bill
