Hi John Please dont take this as a negative post is it most certainly isn't meant that way. The boxes are superb, but, I would rather use a 1" square mesh or similar on the front instead of the bars ( as good as they are), as with the bars a terrier can easily push his leg through all the way, and even his muzzle, not that this will let your terrier out , but if you have other dogs of a larger species in the vehicle as well, and you have just moved some soil and are on the way home or to another soil moving exercise, there could well me be some "worked up" dogs, of both sorts in the back o

You could safely bet your matching pair Simoman and they'd be still be there afterwards for you to use, on whoever/ what ever you choose !!!!!............... Seriously though, it's shamefull, imagine what would happen to one of us, and the publicity we'd get if a working terrier or lurcher suffered the same apphaling death......... then you wouldn't want to bet one of your spuds on that one Simoman... let me tell you! A mate of mine s had similar, vet job for amputation, about £200.00 in all, sounds a lot, but whats a working dog worth ?? Dog was A1 afterwards. Think of a good excuse before you go to the vet , cos guaranteed you'll turn to a gibbering wreck if and when he asks you, think of your yarn and stick to it. ATB B

Trouble with straw it can harbour mites etc, good warm bedding though. Shredded paper is also very good, but you'll need a good supply as once it gets wet, it goes hard and needs replacing. Your charity shop sheets are as good as anything, can be dried if wet, and replaced if soiled, and dont harbour mites etc. Yer pays Yer money, Yer takes Yer choice I suppose. B

It may be giant hogweed, large leafed soft stemmed plant, very sappy. I used to do a lot of strimming along motorway embankments and wet footpath areas etc for a living and if you hit this babe with the gut it would just disintegrate, trouble was , every bit of it that landed on your skin would result in a large blister full of water, almost instantly, almost like a fag burn or similar. I wonder have they ingested something along those lines. Very good suggestion about the charcoal, helps a lot in the case of ingested poisons / substances, hope it works out for you mate. ATB B

Minimum age for a shotugn license
Bootsha replied to othickman's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
I got mine when I was 15 years old, only stipulation was I had to be with someone 21 or over when using it until 17 years of age, not necesarilly a licence holder themselves. I know of one chap who had his sooner. I suppose it all depends on the authority and idividualls. My advice, sort your ground out, sort your paperwork out ( application etc) and get on the Firearms Officers desk pronto. Thats the only way you'll find out properly. Hope you have success. ATB B -
With repect Dawn B , if he had wanted to reply to your question the first time you asked it then I'm sure he would have, it's his dog, his decision, his conscience, .... his business, let it be exactly that. Regards B

Bootsha replied to heart of wales's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Thats not a torch in my pocket If it is, it's not a big one anyway Now if I told you who I is H.O.W, it would take the intrigue out of it now wouldn't it ?? One day Al, I'll tell you, and I bet you wouldn't even remember me, although I once stewarded at your show, now then thats got the grey matter burning ATB B -

Theres 13 people currently reading this thread, and 4 of them are MOD's !!, I bet your all waiting with your fingers on the "delete that bas***ds account" button"", if anyone should let you have it, so to speak ! They all do a good job, a thankless job, and probably overpayed to boot , but I suppose the people that may have a gripe with a mod may have acted out of turn and been told about it. None of us like beeing told something we dont want to hear or dont like. Keep up the good work Mods, and get Kay on the team, she'd be an assett ( and a lot easier on the eye than most of you,

Dont tap into the manhole of the main sewer or else some nosey git could find you out. Find the pipe AFTER your sewer manhole, dig a neat trench from your kennells, lay some 4" pipe and then tap into it, using plenty of cement around the join ( you dont want to go digging that back up after some time let me tell you!!). Make sure theres enough fall in the pipe, very good idea. Backfill the trench, re lay the turf, again neatly, a few weeks you'll never guess what dastardly deed has gone on there, Bobs your Uncle and Fanny's your best mate.

It's like this I suppose ladies and gents. I live in Wales and have heard of this dog and his reputation, others who live in England have also heard of this to, Scottish and Irish boys and girls have also heard of this dog. So, regardless of the negative posts by some, he must be something special for so many to have heard about him and for his name to be raising so much emotion !!. How many lurchers and lines are out there boys ??, F@ckin thousands, tens of thousands, how many lines and individual dogs do you hear about ???, Pye lines, Punch lines, Golly, Paddy, Billy , Blondie etc T
