    This ferret locator box was bought by my dad about 1975 They were advertised in the shooting times, by a gamekeeper, Price.... About £7 or there abouts, it came with two collars It worked fine and I remember him using it. It used to tick like a deben but would switch to local ratio stations when in use Over the years he lost both collars ,but worked ok with the deben ones Hope this is of interest to the ferreting lads

    I had a dog out of rocky ( rocky x firebird ) when Curtis owned him Was a nice strong type, it was obvious he has seen work Because he carry the putty nose gene, folk wanted to breed away from him.? That's the impression I got.

    I carry two t20's One with a red led for scanning the fields, and a standard white one, when I am in position, to slip the dog.

    I gave a terrier pup to a friend........ Years ago, told me he would rear it, and work it. Gave it him Sunday evening, was for sale in the yellow paper the following Wednesday..!!

    I could be wrong, but im sure i was offer flint a few years ago, from a lad in doncaster ? if i remember correctly he was selling a pup out of him aswell.. think the price was £400 for flint he produced the top runner tilly, so must be concidered as a good stud

    Had my drum x fly dog for 4 years, was the best lamper I ever had, I never caught big numbers with him, far from it, But... His run to catch numbers were excellent, I backed on to the fields at the time and had a little walk, regular at the back of the house, catching 4 rabs was good going, My record with him was 9.... Not lots but great numbers local. He once caught on the moors 21 out of 23. He was trouble at times though,, if he new i wasn't going a walk after work, once I opened the back gate he would disappear for a hour or so.... Hunting all over, sometimes coming
