  3. Every fox we dug (PRE BAN) was released unharmed like this one was. We only ever humanly killed foxes, when the landowner asked us to remove them off his land
  4. Good times were had old mate I Remember them trips well, 14 foxs in 3 outing is great going for any motley crew... Our crew was definitely motley..!! All the pictures posted were PRE BAN, but some of the outings seemed like yesterday The old pictures were posted because ( so i am told? ) they would be of interest to the Plummer folk In recent year I haven't owned terriers, but still enjoy the occasional dig....

  7. That last picture was bitter sweet. Me and newsboy dug that fox on a railway line, hole was only a few yards from the track.. Jet was in mixing it, was only shallow ( about 18") but ground was like bell metal to get through Took us about 40 mins to brake thru, that was fox number one We moved on, a cannot remember if we had another dig or bolt to another dog..? Anyway we walked up to another set with a few holes, not a big place. Nets on jet in, two foxes bolted after a while... Dealt with them, then got a mark to jet....   13. As I said earlier, I gave spike to my dad as a pet, come rabbiting dog A couple of years after I gave him to dad I landed in Manchester,been abroad somewhere, turned my phone on... Received a message from dad ( he was about 75 then) Spike gone to ground in a rabbit come cub earth, dad was struggling to get a mark on him.
