you only get out what you put, and if your on their case all the while, i would have thought hounds would never respect you, let alone work for you, huntsman and hounds should be a team, and they should bond to you, their master, their feeder and the man they love to hunt for and with, why would they want them nervous, there has been cases where hounds have been taken from the hunting field,but the dirty theives soon realise that he is a pack animal and starts playing up they wont keep him,

im not so sure how you,d go about starting out with a wbtc,would there have to be a comittee?, or would it be run by members?, without it getting too political and being fooked up and sent to the wall, like some other clubs, look at the wbtc that was recently formed by a certain person not so long ago, we spent a tenner and heard sweet fanny adams, so i think it would have to be worked out properly,

in some cases they are alot of money, but if you want one that bad you,d pay for it, i paid 350 for my old bitch, 9yrs ago and shes been worth every penny , i can understand why lads get irrate about price, borders are not the only pricey dogs, i no of some black stuff, that has been sold for stupid money just because of its stature in the ring, i have a mate up the road who sells his borders for 350, all from proven stuff and they are kc, but 100 per cent workers, i think this is a subject that no,one is ever going to agree on,you,d pay 350 for a terr locator and no one moans about that.

there are working lads out there with working stock, i let mine go for 200,and had no quibble from the lads that had them,i have to agree with you , get them out as soon as, my pup is taking an interest, but he,s still to young to be out for too long, when he gets knackered i pick him up and it stops him from being a little fek when he gets home, i have a lot of hope for him, its there in the breeding it just needs bringing out.

i think their all a lost cause, bring up the subject of wearing leather boots and they fly off it,i was out one morning and put a terr in a long roadside drain, and at this particular moment it was quiet, in went the dog and i legged it to the other end, the get old red from the net, i got there and dispatched him, the next thing, im being chased up the ditch by a screaming mob of women who came from i dont know where, calling me allsorts and damning me and my dog to hell, i was lucky i had got old red out of sight, any how they followed us for the day and made a point of coming up to the van
