he,s a good looking fella, do you know his blood lines? i have two adog i bred and his mum, she came from an old digging pal, both hunt well when i was younger ikept lakelands, but six year ago i lost me lakie dog, couldnt find what i wanted and waited for a border pup, they suit me.

i say fair play to these dogs and the comments were more sickening than the event itself, i reckon the poor women did well and the dogs wont forget it in a hurry and it was on home turf, they will heal ok, ive seen a lot worse injury on our terriers after working charlie.

there was recently acase in eaton bray a famer shot someones pet, heard it briefly on radio dont know the outcome,as far as i know dogs have to be worrying livestock and you dont have a leg to stand on in court, but still he should,nt have let fire, go and burn him out.

how many other fieldsports have come back?, otter hunting was banned in the late seventies, and in my part of the country they are back, because the rivers are cleaner and it was,nt banned through hunting anyway,the mp,s never have listen to us, the badger population is through the roof,and you get fox dumpers, hunting should never have been an issue, on a recent ferreting trip i got asked if i was badger digging, because i had a spade on my back and my dog. i hate to sound dispondent, will hunting as we new it ever be the same?.

think ive only had it with younsters, last year i left all jills in together, and all were with young and all born in same run, alldoin well and then about the six week age,,i lost all but two, the jills killed and eat them ,they are strange to keep, and ive kept and worked ferrets over 30 year, never had problems,now i split them up again.

over the years that i have been hunting ive seen our way of life disapear, our freedom, land being swallowed up by building and all the time dog men and women arguing about their charges, its about time they stopped, and realised the current state of affairs before we disapear into the mists of time, i have not long become a member of this site and enjoy it , i dont show my dogs very often because of the nob, eads! that you find there (my dog better than your dog syndrome). so come lads we are all in the same boat lets enjoy,
