  1. http://m.lincs.police.uk/News-Centre/News-Releases-2014/Theft-of-Dogs-Skegness-Reward-Offered.html#.Usxax8G6OvU.facebook
  2. Full litter of lurcher pups stolen just outside skegness. Not sure on the cross, just lurcher x lurcher I think. Stolen from addlethorpe. So if anyone sees any pups for sale and the dam is not there then these could be them. I'll try get some more info later.
  3. Good luck with the litter. You should sell what's spare in no time. Atb.
  4. Most farms round stickney have a hare shoot every 3 or 4 years. They get big numbers. Plus the rifle boys are getting £3 each so they can get 30/40 a night.
  5. My dog came this way, as the sire was old and not up to the task.
  6. It's the same near me. They seem to lay up in the dykes now, and not just in seats in the field. This is where you need a good bushing dog.
  7. My old coursing dog was a jack of all trades. I probally lamped him more than daytime, but that's because of work commitments. He would kill 3 and 3 regular in the day, plus he worked with the terriers and lamped well too. My younger dog is more of an out and out hare dog. I still lamp him but daytime is where he excels.
  8. I like the 3 comments at the bottom.
  9. I see where your coming from mate. If your the type of person where a dog is for life, then it can be a bloody nightmare if you don't bond with it. Some people would just get shut of it, but it's not always that easy.
  10. I've seen 8/8 and 9/9 a week later! On the fens too. Only the once mind
  11. I don't use a collar, but for the guy who's dog got caught on barb wire, I don't understand how you dog got injured?? You said it was jumping over it but its collar got caught.... Must have a strange jumping style or it ran straight into it.
  12. Just been speaking to my mate who see Romeo run, and it turns out he had been laid up with an injury, so I was probally unfair to call him average. When he's fully fit I'm sure he would be a different animal if he ran like that after a lay off.
  13. Sorry that should say wouldn't take fox. Not sure about the males as I didn't see any work.
  14. A mate of mine see Romeo run and said he was just average, but if he's throwing good pups that's all that matters. You buying the pups, not the sire.
  15. It all depends how they turn out, as with all cross bred lurchers. The one I had was a great hunter and clever bitch and would kill winter hares too. I've seen a few of her litter sisters too and they all were class animals, though they would take fox.
  16. My vet charged £. There is no rush though as you can do it up to 40 days. If you do it now, becareful she dosnt get caught again
  17. 6x4!! Fooking hell my ferrets are in a bigger run than that. And you want to put a sleeping box in there to??
  18. He wants to know if there any good before he puts a price on them
  19. Mine are decent catch dogs, thought they don't retrieve. The younger one is a pretty fast, probally too fast for his own good on the lamp. I've caught the full spectrum of game with mine though.
  20. It depends if you've house proud or not, after a days hunting they can be pretty mucked up. I always wash there feet and clean of any blood from there fur but when I get in after midnight that's about all I do. There clean enough to go in the run but not to come in the house lol
