i did one myself but its only a home made job with salt water and its a bit damp now and the pup decided to bring it most of the way in on the second retreive then just chew it. dont want her to get into bad habbits so need a decent one for the dummy. any sites that do them or members that cure there own to a decent standared, dont mind paying ye or swapping for a dvd.. cheers maty.

ive heard that about bitches coming on quicker than dogs and deerhound types taking longer to fully mature. ive got a collie whippet grey and she's just over 9 month now but to be honest i doubt if she has the speed needed to catch an adult rabbit yet and seems quite imature (sp). dont get me wrong she is fast but not fast enough so im waiting till next season to start her fully. her retreiving isnt great either so thats another reason im waiting. hoping to get her on a couple of half grown ones. wont have too wait too long by the looks of things either just need to get her retreiving up to a

i dont know about the other makes but my harris, has got holes to fix the qd type clips on to. what are the outers is is?? rockmount type pods like, suposed to be copys of the harris.

less than 2 hrs of a decent beam if im right in thinking the lightforces have a 100 watt bulb? with the lazerlite youll get double the amount of time than you would from the lightforce. hth, maty.

missed the program. apparently badger isnt too bad, a bit like eating pork and chicken at the same time ive been told. but there a bugger to skin with all the fat and grease.

my pup caught a young squeeker yesterday, it was out the hole and sitting in a patch of died out ferns. dont know hoe old it was but it could fit in the palm of your hand.

something similar hapend not far from by me. 2 of the gypos horses got out and were on the slip road to come off the by-pass one night. someone was coming off and needless to say they hit them. cant remember much but think 1 person died and both horses had to be killed. think phesants must be pritty stupid. had about 5 shots at one in a wood before leaving it. and im out beating seeing them glideing along heading towards the realease pens then SMACK. and its not just 1 that does it, even seen one fly into barbed before.

what bwb said.... happend to me when i started, drove me mental trying to figure out what id done wrong. now one i do the first loop and tied it on with one knot i take the loop, mesh whatever you want to call it, off the board and tie a knot over the first knot to keep it in place. takes me longer but i know its not going to work loose. then once you've made a few decent nets you can move onto shaped ones, much quicker to make and take less material.

cheers fellas. had a look on the tinternet and the cheapest was about 2. for the smallest size but then postage took it upto a fiver. so got it from country stores for 3.00 starnage as there usually dearer on everything else. just need the boots to arrive now

ive finaly decided to buy some chameau mouflon plus boots and after paying a fair bit for them thort i would look around for something to put on them before they get covered in mud and sh1t to perhaps make them last longer and more waterproof and keep the leather good. ive been looking at this stuff. anyone use it or recomend any other stuff or shall i just save my money. tia maty.

ive got a cobra and a black widow. went after the maggies last night with it, been a few times but havnt had anything, knocked 'em down a few branches but never kill them?? im using the steel balls that you can buy, the 50 for 3 quid type.

heard that brindeds poles are a bit thin and whippy?

for a longnet they need to be about 12-13 meshes high and have double bagging so a 20yd set net has 40yds of netting in it. why would they use 1" mesh? wouldnt of thort the ferrets could fit though or the rebbits head. allways thort rat nets had 1"mesh?? anyway whats the material like for picking up leaves and debris? if its owt like the 4z youll spend more time untngleing them than ferreting

youll see how to use them on the dvd when you get it mate think i paid 30 for my 50yd but there wasnt enough bagging so its about 35yds now. and i paid 50 for my other 75yd both in 6z. i started out with a 4z again the rabbits were coming out of it too easily so i shortend it. if he's offering you a net dont buy it, there'll be big holes in it :11: joking aside, i bought my 75yd net off ryan and its the only one that didnt need shortening. top fella and the net arrived quickly
