If you have one, can you contact me and let me know your availability?" you can contact him here turner_lewis at hotmail.com obviosly the at needs to be replaced.

just been to see the pups. they look healthy in them selves, werent too keen to come and see me but when they did they went under my legs, probably to keep out of the sun? when i stood them up the tail was between there legs and one was abit clumsey on its feet. the fella said they were coming away from there mum at around 3weeks!! and were on dry permanantly at about 7 weeks. the mum looked healthy, saggy tits still. she came out to see me. everything seemed clean im just worrying about them coming off the milk so young. there 50 quid each which i was wondering why but the fellas dog from the

found a bitch pup that is of this breeding. just wondering what peoples opinions are of this type of dog? the mums 12 and has been breed from this mating before and he said something about them taking 4/4 hares but im a touch sceptical, but he allso said that he has got them running on video. going to be used for rabbit (ferreted, lamped, bushed) perhaps the odd fox (bushed, lamped) and retreiving shot game aswell. ive read alot about saluki types not retreiving, being disobedient and stupid yet allso some that say the oposite. is this just down to too the amount of training you put in? thank

wouldnt of thort its a person john, the trap wasnt that easily seen unless your looking for it plus it was at the side of my chicken pen. people walk along the other side of the river about 100-150yds away but the trees on the edge of my garden have all allmost got full leaves so couldnt really see. no one comes round by our house usually as theres only 1 house split into about 4 and not much else there. the egg had been broken in the trap as there was remnances of it in the bottom, yolk and the white but the shell was on the outside of the trap?? yup its the perch that collapses and door fli

i tried that but i returned the next day and a egg had been took out and smashed open.

i would of thort that you could still train him but probably be harder work than a pup.

--> QUOTE(john b @ Jun 5 2006, 07:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you don't think you can control him in the beating line they don't take him. There is nothing that will make the keeper madder :realmad: , or you and your mate more unpopular , than your dog running in to cover packed with birds. yup, if it was me i would start with getting the dog used to small bangs then as has been said work up to the sound of a shotty slowly and try to offer a distraction, food. then start the retreiving on small dummys working up in size slowly then eventually maggie or something t

each to there own ferrets, if you get some quality hemp them that is good imo. i like the way it handels but ye you have to dry it out so if your lazy get some spun. saying that though im making some spun nets at the moment that seems like good materials. its white spun which is thicker than hemp and some back which is abot the same thickness and its quite stiff. i dont think much of the thinner spun though thats allmost asbad as the normal nylon.
-
i had a go with fillis but found it too thick to get the knots to bite properly. get some hemp to start with its only a tenner or less a spool and is the best to learn with imo. the hardest bit is tying the first row of knots onto the ring and not having the knots slipping, takes me ages. but once youve done that bit it isnt too bad just patience and remember to keep everything tight. good luck maty
