  3. thast the problem axeoil cant get my money now! ill have a look at the meindels spud. im on the look out for another pair just cheap 'uns off ebay or somewere. cheers mate, maty.
  4. quickset or traditional styley??
  5. try to get to a gun shop before buying off internet without feeling them. they could be way too heavy for you to manage. lugging it around fields for a few hours. my neighbour has a hw97....now i wouldnt want to be carrying that about!! a few others to look at, as has been said the brummy webleys. i had a gas rammed webely xocet karbine. was a great gun, really light and small i sold that for about 150 with scope and mounts. when i bought it it was 100 without the scope etc....perhaps something else to consider if you like it.. cheers.
  6. was allways told the wormers only get rid of what is in the dog at the time of worming. so if you fed a rabbit with worm eggs in it after worming it would have time to hatch, breed etc for 3 month till the next worming. i allways freeze stuff for 3 weeks or more anyway just incase. cheers,
  7. just thought id let y'all know how this went.....or didnt as the case is. boots were semt off to john off'a decoying.co.uk by royal mail for about a tenner! could of had them gone by parcel farce at a cheaper price but the lass on the till said that buy paying the extra 50p or whatever it was there was a 90% of them getting there next day or something like that. anyway i posted them off and waited a week or so and after hearing nothing off john got intouch. he said he hadnt had anything so i kept waiting and emailing him every few days as i was getting abit concerned!! anyway im still waiting
  8. as previously said...try bolting the terminals to the batt and then getting a garden type connector, see pic below. or just sell the lightforce to me and buy a lazerlite insted

    Lamps

Frank sure you cant be tempted to part with that lightforce put the cash from that towards a lazerlite.. you know you want to... just fancy trying one out and giving it a strip and re-wire if its any good. or anyone else thats got a 170 handheld thats dead or very close to being....drop me a pm
  10. cheers nobby. i dont know what type they are in the link nikey but for that price they probably are zinc air type. these type need air to work and all taped up and a few feet down a rabbit hole, air could get a bit low. i know a few people still use them but for the extra quid or so i know id rather have the real deal that will last and help me do all i can to retreive my ferret when needs be. its the silver oxide you should use and preferably a decent make, i use rayovacs, varta, renata or similar. picked up 10 for about a fiver off ebay a while ago through the best offer thing. hth,
  11. remember to make sure there not the zinc air type
  12. watch the weirachs they can be too heavy. my neighbours got a 97 and a few shots with that and you'll be like popeye. i had a webley xocet karbine with silencer. that would of been perfect imo. very small, light, reasonably quiet and small enough for the kids to shoot. perhaps they would need help cocking it due to the shorter barrel but supose that could be a plus point...anyway just another option for you to consider. cheers,
  13. drop me a pm mate if your still looking for a few dvd's. a few books have been mentioned on longnetting before. one that sticks out is the art of longnetting or something like that by harrold wymann i think. sure it was stubby that mentioed it. a quick search through the posts should reveal it fella. cheers,
  14. bridport nets i get most of my stuff from. usually stock up at the game fairs. i bought some lovely red spun nylon last year and bought what on a quick inspection looked the same but after getting it home it was a tiny bit thinner. still good stuff but that old red will take some beating imo. they did it in black too just easyer to spot red. allways nice to see what your getting just incase its that bit too thin, stretchy etc bridports yellow spun nylon is good aswell last lot i bought but could vary again now.. feck me if i carry on at this rate my net bag will be like joseph's coat soon
  15. make yourself one up mate. do they sell shoulder bags over there?? if not specific lamp battery bags any will do. then just a case of finding yourself a 12v battery. dont forget to work out how long you'll nedd the lamp for otherwise you could be be stuck out with no lamp
  16. same as i use mate, just watch the spades dont come off now. ive got a big 16ah batt now with bolt on terminals now they shouldnt shift!
  17. feking cracking pics fella! what set up was used to take the pics. very nice indeed. cheers,
  18. sure ive eaten something that looks like what loyd posted in the last pic, was from the local cantonese place. sweet and sour chicken they called it but could be any feckin meat in there and i wouldnt be non the wiser!
  19. stay away from the b&q poles....useless. hazels allright if on a budget but if your rich go for the compressed plastic type available from magnum trap co. much better at going into hard ground and easyer to adjust the height of net etc. all thats if your going for the quickset type net of course cheers.
  20. bloody hell! sorry to hear that mate. best of luck mate for a quick recovery and hope you have a good season. cheers,
  21. thanks for that MC. im still not sure what ive picked but whatever it is come late december sure it will get a smapeing and ill see if i shall be returning to the same tree next year or weather to just stick to the sloes. cant wait thanks for the help fellas, maty.
  22. i use a lazerlite but would like a tighter beam even after adjusting it i find over distance it widens a fair bit. i was thinking about a lightforce 170 and rewiring it but im not paying decent money to void the warrenty etc.
  23. take it you mean woodga?? not too sure, moley may be selling them, the genuine article on his site but dont quote me. try a search, sure there was a link of were to order them from on here somwere.
