    if the kammo gaiters are anything like there coat it'll be spot on. i just used some cheap ones that were great till the zip went on them. im now using some slightly dearer ones off ebay, highlander or something. they have them down as goretex but there not, still waterproof and dont make me sweat. could do with a bit more stretch in them though i think. the bottom bit is made of corderou or however you spell it to help prolong the life of them. the top is normal fabric type which is a bit thin but is holding up well so far. heard the brashers are allright, never tried them though..

  3. let us know how it goes. when i ment the first lot i met the first few ml's. remembering what i read it was pure ethanol?? could be way off the mark there, i remember reading it wouldnt kill you (or make you go blind) just taste really bad. i know that was with a different still so perhaps it varys and this type is allright. you've definately got me interested again now what did you add in to the mash fruit wise?? with this amazing plastic still i can see on ebay they do sets and when you look at the imersion heater costing nearly 30 quid off this seller to get one to go to 45-50 deg cel,
  4. stork, what you using it for?? long runs, lamping?? i use a sony hc14e wich has nightshot. have a look at my vid in the vid section if your interested in seeing what its like. it lacks a bit of zoom when shooting but the nigt shot is very good for lamping. focus can be a bit slow aswell when zoomed right in and a rabbits come flying at you! i rekon its a good little cam though and it does me fine for the price i paid, under 100 quid on ebay.
  5. sounds easy kurgan, is it?? i was looking on ebay for one a few months ago. was going to make up a mash of hedgerow fruit with perhaps a bit more mixed in so its cheap. i got put off by the cost of the still in the end. do you still chuck the first little bit that comes out the still with this plastic still. youve got me interested again now.....free distilled water for the car how much did it cost you to make or did you just buy the set? cheers,

    pic resizing

    have a look for a image resizer. think windows or microsoft do one. once its installed, right click on the image and it will give you the usual options plus resize image.

  12. precharge (pcp) have a limited number of fills before you have to either pump it up with a pump (120 quid new) or use a dive bottle (evn more cash) the bottle has to be tested every few years and filled up at a local dive shop or airgun shop. pcp's dont have any recoil so tend to be more accurate in less experianced hands. the number of shots you'll get per charge will depend on the rifle, size of the resevoir and the calabre of it. generally .177 get less shots per charge than .22. there generally quiter when fitted ith a decent silencer. were as a springer will keep going as you just c

  14. have they checked the obvios places were they could be?? one of our neighbours lost her terrier, a pet, but turned out they had it, called her up when they saw the sighn and happens it had a reward. they gave it a good hair clipping though if you can get any info though would help get them back, especially pics.

  16. such as what natural, fillis? hemp? sisal? remember nylon doesnt rot and slides very fast each to there own though but ive never used natural twine for the drawcord, the net itself well thats different again...
  17. try 2mm braided cord and you'll need about 2 and a half to 3 times times your net length depending on how much cord you like. best by a 1kg spool then you can cut off what you like when you want it. have a look on ebay, i usually get my stuff off ropeseller 23 or something like that.

  22. if its ferrals in the warehouse or factory why not try a ratcathcer or one of the newer ones out now. remember to limit the range with less power you have though. if its full power you want a bsa lightening should do. or any decent make, old webley, weirach (sp) but perhaps a bit too much money.
  23. are you sure it is deffo not chargeing and your lamp is at fault?? if you have another lamp try the same batterys on that lamp and a different battery on the lightforce if you can but it souds like its the lamp thats fooked. open it up and see if you can see anything wrong. there constantly going the LF range, from bad woring, dry joints, poor connections etc.
  24. i used the mole catcher recipie what ever that was. think it was something like 500g to 1 litre, the real sloe gin tastes allright its just the bullace is a bit sweet....too mcuh suger. should i just add some extra gin now or once i decant?? or anything else to do to make it less cough syrupy?? cheers,
