i couldnt care what they look like joe aslong as they dont fall apart or leak. theyve gone back to deako as i couldnt find an address in the uk. if they come back repaired i wont be best pleased!! at least they'll work and be suitable for what there sold for but it cost me a tenner to send them back and on some boots coting near enough 200 quid you just dont expect them to break let alone after 6 fecking months!! as i say think ill be getting some lowa combats and combine them with gaiters and get some of the muck boots that have had a fair few good ratings. we'll see.....

maty j replied to thurso jack's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
can you get them from maplins, and what are they called? cheers JG. not sure what there called or if maplins stock them blando, have a look on there site i would suggest. i just had them in the workshed doing nothing and they looked like they were just the job after the cigar end working intermitantly. try b&q, i think that there for lawnmowers but theres no earth on this so dont quote me. i found these though which i think were mentioned above....battery connectors. hth, maty. -

feck the cigar ends off and wire the lamp up to some proper connectors like these. no solder on these just screws. or if you really want to stick to the cigar type get down maplins and buy one. i picked up female cigar connectoe for under a quid. that was before i got the proper jobs on the go -
the only reason i used nikwax was because it got recomended to me. ive heard dubbin rots the stiching but not nikwax but who knows it could of been but im not convinced. what would you say to use then novice on a goretex lined boot. i used polish but tbh it didnt last long at all on the boot and the water soaked in much faster than when i used the nikwax. thinking about trying some lowas once i get my money back and they have a goretex lining. from the reveiws so far on the muck boots i think ill be grabbing some of them for real shit weather with the change i have left over from the lowas hop

best not to mess unless he knows what he's doing snoop and has a crono. not worth the hastle if he gets pulled and it tested. as he probably knows the legal limit is 12 ft/lbs and over that power you need a FAC. allso the number of shots will decrease from one charge if he puts the power up. not much help but there you go snoop

a quick set is a net that has the poles fixed to the net. theres been many a post on here beforeabout them, how they work, if there any good etc. a quick search will bring them up. most with the quickset now have a basket to make things easyer. gypoe joe sells them ready rigged at very good prices compared to brinded etc or you can make your own but it took me about half a day, blistered fingers and much fraustration. i set it up like this before and all the knots come undone i would say it is easyer to set out and pick up the quickset. however some people prefer the quickset and others the t

after ordering some fibreglass poles off here im looking to put together a light 50yd net. they were going on a 35yd 6z but i fancy a longer 4z net. ive got 1 and a half spool of 2mm braid here that i could use on some sheet netting if it will work out cheaper doing it that way or im prepared to buy a ready rigged net with head and foot lines if i can get one cheap enough. ive got some prices off gypoe joe. whilst magnum are decent quality im only after a cheap 4z net. by cheap not something that will fall apart on me but still want to spend as little as possible. any decent companies that y

them are the same ones that i bought craggy, same seller aswell. im not very impressed with them tbh. hardly any wax on them to start so i gave them a spray before the first use and they could do with anyother decent coating now. they are waterproof to an extent but if its just pissed down or your ourt and it is and the grass is high it soon gets through. especially on the knee and thigh area. rekon a pair of leggins would be a good option goverdog, mine have pop studs on the side so there adjustable in height. id personaly save up for some off weatherware ones next time. i pm'd ditch bef

130 quid ive got the lazerlite myself, didnt buy the kit though. feck paying 130 quid for something i put together for under 60!! i got my lamp off johnson feild sports for about 50. rucksack to put the battery in and got a 7ah batt from the var boots for 2 quid. i know that is a 10 but see if you know anyone who works the stores or on the alarm systems they have loads that they get rid of as there past a certain date. i bought a female cigar end and soldered this onto a bit of flex with spades on the end but them conections are shite so chopped it off in the end. now im using a big chuncky o
