i use a nite stalker and find it great. it has the 100w bulb as standard. if thats not to your liking you can allways swap it to the 50w to double your lamping time. the spot on it is very good compared to the lazerlite i was using before and its adjustable too. i did have a problem with it once were it went on the blink but didnt know if it was the battery terminals coming loose or the wiring. i havnt had any problems since but mine doesnt get any strian on the wires as its hung on my rucksack but i have heard of 1 other lamp doing the same aswell. not sure if anyone else has had it?? ha

looks interesting fish, if im down that way i'll go have a look but its a 2 hr drive there other wise. youve given me an idea, ill have a look on google for a siple press that requires no welding. cheers,

lol @ john. you interested in one, buy 1 get 1 when you said it used the screw mount i thought you ment fixing the lamp to the camera not using some insulation tape but if it works ill have to try it wehn im out on my own looks a swish camera that OS, far too good to get trudged around a muddy field. is it one of those mini disk on built in memory ones??

forgotten all about this. the black one has the phsyco look about her DDD anyone following this, i sent neil a recorded letter to give him the benifit of the doubt. id imagine he'd have it by now and if it was a genuine mistake id have the slip so it looks like ive been done. i know if it was me id have it sent next day as soon as i got the letter but i'll give him a few more days first....

i had a similar thing when my bitch was a pup. we just came out off some private land onto a foot path. i could see the other dog coming ahead of us so called my excitable pup back and put her on the lead to save the muddy pawprints. next thing this alsation comes towards us. i just thought it was a dog interested in the pup but knelt down infront of her incase it came on too strong. next thing it sped up and went straight for her. luckily she was never bit, weather all my shouting and kicking got it to piss off i dont know, it was over in seconds but since then she has been really nervy with

they said they had modified what ever lamp it was they used. Yip they sure did, I can still remember the plant pots stuck on the end with black insulating tape sure ive seen that somewere beofre :D

how did you make yours Farlap, Lurchers1?? wouldnt mind getting one made up over the summer to get the dog fitter for next season.

have you started downloading the films? if not you'll need something like bitlord. once done it depends on your dvd player and what format the movie is in. all mine get converted to avi using dvd santa, once done it asks if you want to burn them right away, saves using nero, roxio etc that way. and thats about it. theres ome formats such as bin or whatever but i havnt figured them out yet so usually just stick to xvid, avi or divx. oh make sure the torrent has plenty of seeders or you could end up getting half way through and not being able to finish it. good luck.

cheers lads. fish, ive got some more on the camera but you'll have to be patient ill hopefully get out for a few runs soon so should have a bit more footage that ill cut all the shit of and post the finished bit up. glad you like it J&L. there all thined out round here now JO so im having to travel to a estate ive got perm on to lamp. theres good numbers on there but the ground favours the rabbits alot. steep hills, hidden dykes and ditches. winds good at the weekend apparently but shame i cant find out about begining of march when the moon starts to go down.

i must be the only one who finds road walking boring then she gets a little bit now and then 3-6 miles whenever i go but id much rather be out just mouching or walking the woods. the dogs cover a far greater distance that way and are using more muscle groups.

like CJ mentioned. i use the paralex corection as a range finder. set up your range measureing out , 20, 25, 30 and so on to whatever you want and use a cornflake box or similar at 20 yds. fix your magnification right up and correct the parelex so its crystal clear. get a thin sticky label on your paralex adjuster and mark on what distance it is. do this with all the distances bit leave a bit of space on the sticky label. then get some targets on the same distances and shoot a small group. if your zeroed for 25yds for example and shoot at 20 it could be 1 mildot higher than your zero so just p

how did you make the press jimmbo? ive got a few trees in the garden and planned making some last year but the press i ordered never turned up so they rotted in the end. still fancy having a go next year if i get a decent press.

Dave, Niel osrt of the same DDD if your not Neil then i appologise aswell - i never said anything but thought you were. all i know is it looks like ive been taken... looking at his ebay account a few other folk have had the same! http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...id=120207947492 it could just be his pc/interent. i know how fraustrating it is so will send another letter before doing anything else....... it was a private sale between me and him for a leather slip, similar to the rope idea but leather leaving the dog with no collar on. wasnt even alot of money but its the pricipa
