    I'm In a similar position as you in that I'm after either of the above rifles. I've been told there both cracking rifles. The TX Is better out the box but the 97 really benefits from a strip down and a decent tuning kit. I'm still undecided. I'm looking second hand for either but nothings come up yet. I'll probably end up modding what ever I get so I may go down the gunshop see what they have and If they want a rapid as PX.

    What you filling It with, dive bottle or pump. Is It showing 200 bar on the gauge once filled? Where's the air coming out from?

    The way I've always seen them Is that normally they would fire 1 single pellet at no more than 12 FPE. So firing lots of smaller pellets that 12 FPE will be shared by all the no 9 shot so there will be alot more weight to shift by the same amount of air coming out the gun. In short I'd bet the power then would be crap on the shot shells. Sounds like a good idea though and a handy tool. I've often wondered about trying to make a similar set up but making It so each shot Is flaying at around near legal limit so increasing the range. Can't say I've ever needed somthing like this so I havn't bothe

    That's good ole air arms bluing for you Aaron Don't worry about It. Mines been like that for years and Is still spot on. I tried to get some very fine emory paper on It but It was starting to scratch the metel too much so I gave up. It hasn't gotten any worse so I'm not too fussed.

    Do you mean they can't screw the adaptor onto there fill line... You neeed a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor. I'd recomend getting a pump to fill up. It's a balla che filling the 500cc bottle from empty but keep It topped up and you'll be fine. You can get pumps for 60 quid s/h.

    Thought It was a crock of shit myself. As you say the workers seem hand picked for the show, allthough at least little and large did try there best. TBH though, I've no real problem with imigrants working here. It's the spongers and criminals I'm dead against. Speaking of which.... Anyone see crime watche's most wanted last night? All but 2 had a dark sun tan....

    HW have very small holes In the washers too so the pellet can only just get through. TBH, I think most of the top silencers are based on that design. I know the logun QGS Is allthough the baffles are more substantual being made of ali. My Twink silencer Is the smae design and again has metal baffles rather than the cheap hair curlers that can break.

    I got given a web address a while back that did dog gear, drontal + clone, jabs etc but can't remember the name. It wasn't vet medic or hyperdrug. Anyone know which one I'm on about?

    Just keep quiet about what It Is. RM are supposed to accept them as one PO worker did... The guy posting It told the woman It was a air rifle and she had no problem. Next thing the guy knew the cops had It for testing and were kicking up a fuss over the silencer fitted. I just send them RMSD and insured up to whatever value, If they ask I tell them It's sporting goods.

    Walther 4-12x50 for sale. I bought It for my stealth and then decided I wanted more magnification so It Is hardly used. Comes with all things It has when new. Spare allen key, mounts, spare bolts, silica gel, lacky scope covers, instructions and box. It has an illuminated milldot reticle, adjustable objective, shockproof, 30mm body so It really grabs the light especially at dawn and dusk. There's a very small mark on the underside of the scope but when on the rifle this can't be seen and It doesn't affect the scope at all.     Some magazines can have too much spring tension and damage the pellets skirts slightly, Especially on soft pellets such as AA fields. One of my rapid mags had a a lot of pressure on. I can't say for sure If this affected accuracy but I adjusted It just in case.

    i havn't seen any either. Heard of a few spots further out but all meant to be hot. Many rabbits around. My usual perm hasnt many this season..
