can some ONE help me PLEASE
maty j replied to gunpower's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Can you see any signs of damage on It? Gunpower UK sell them. They never email you back but ring them up and they'll take the order over the phone. Min order of a tenner and the seals were 6 quid each when I bought mine. If you bought the rifle off him he'll send you one FOC. I had a stage where I went trough a few of them so have used up all my spares or I could of sent you one out. Drum sells his own at a tenner each. I had one of his and It blew out and he replaced It FOC so up to you where you get one from. -
My mate got banned after getting caught going too fast He drives a civic S now and his insurance Is about 3 and a half grand I wouldn't bother

Top rifle, Blueing Is crap but as accurate as you like. Bought mine a good few years back and a few have come and go since but the S400 Is a keeper. -
How old are you now? In the first 2 years of drving you only get 6 lives to play with so the 9 points will take you over right away lol. Hardly worth bothering to pass your test really It may work differently when you are issued points before you have the licesnse but that's my understanding.

is pheasant shooting with air rilfe legal
maty j replied to kev1986's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Nah mines In for a service Pritty crap, I saw some POACHERS out walking some of my extensive permision when I was last out with the lamp. The cheek of them First field too and the rest of the night was shit and I covered some ground too! Yes they can be easy and as has been said they do get clued up sooner rather than later. Once disturbed properly they soon vacate and find somewhere else to roost a little quieter. The topic title Is, Is phesant shooting with air rifle legal and yes It Is - Just It seems frowned upon. So If you do It don't post It on THL or expect to get flamed -

I'm no shotgunner - too expensive and noisy for me so I stick to the pellet guns but as most sports men will rightly say head or neck shots are still lethal and I can't see any respectible sports person just clipping the wing to get them down. Body shots you'll f**k the meat up. Shit does happen and you sometimes fluff shots but I'm sure we all go for a clean kill no mater what gun we shoot. I've helped out on driven days and you still get runners with the shottys - Bet you get less with the air rifle shooting by moon light but theres no money In that for the keepers or land owners -
The reason no prosecusions have been made? Perhaps nothing illegal Is going  And this shit makes It Into the papers Saying that the fuzz arn't slacking off as F2F says...

How exactly? I'm not condoning or condeming shooting them with an air rifle just can't see how It's cruel dropping them with a head shot Seems more about ethics to me than cruelty. -

I find the birds tend to wander abit as the shooting season gets going and they turn up to roost In some strange places. I've seen a dozen or so birds roost In a little wood well away from any shoot. -
I've tried most of the others and have stuck with the Kammo. I requested a catalog from them and In that It had a small patch of sample material. This was a good few years back but see If they still do these as you'll be suprised at the strength of It. Mines got neumerous small thread pulls where It's been hung up or barbed but It doesn't rip easily. It's still 100% waterproof and It's been used aswell as abused.

Not that I'm not interested just not that educated on the subject to comment. But here's my 2P worh anyway. IMO on sub 12 It won't make much of a difference In most cases. however I bought a stealth and It had the stock 12" barrel on. I was strugling to group well at any range let alone 50 or so yards. I now have a much bigger barrel and It seems to be doing the biz. Now Is that because the origional was too small or just bad quality? I did try another 12" barrel and had the same issues. Make of that what you will. I'd like to get a quality smaller barrel perhaps 12" or just abit bigger so It

Not cheap but worth It. Bought mine a good few years ago and It's still never let me down unlike some of the new deerhunter crap I've had. Really warm, high collar which Is great for keeping the wind and rain out. I paid 200 for the Kodiak and the baseball hat on special offer and It was worth every penny. I'm now saving for the trousers after trying the Deerhunter monta's out and getting soaked through. The Kammo Is suprisingly resiliant to barbed too. http://www.ekmpowershop1.com/ekmps/shops/k...ackets-13-c.asp

What's wrong with It mate? Gunpower UK will sell you them anyway. Have you got the main valve body that the brass face screws Into, the spring preload adjuster and the spring?? -
Some nice glass with good zoom. As Davy says, If you want the steadiness for longer shots a bipod Is a nesecity IMO. I was suprised what ranges my S400 could group well at off the pod.

Are gunpower staelths any good
maty j replied to gunpower's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Get on to leupys custom shop. He does barrels In whatever cal and length you want ready to drop In. His hybrid hammers and spring set ups are spot on too for inproving consistency. Polish the running edge too to reduce friction and keep the hammer running dry. vent the front bushing and the frame too If your running big power. You can buy the condor or 18" barrels on ebay from the US. If you want a blank your local gunshop should be able to get you one, But mine couldn't! -

I bought a blank and had It machined to fit the stealth action. You can buy them ready to drop In though, Has to be easyer than what I did -

I wouldn't say there that accurate out the box. The consistency Is shit too. The vale Is so basic that you can get valve lock running higher pressure fills then It rises then starts to fall. Still you can always fill lower and find the sweet spot. The little 12" barrel Is crap too, Get a proper sized barrel on and you'll be winning I got an adaptor and fitted a QGS silencer and It does quieten them down better than that empty bean can gunpower supply. Here's mine allthough I don't think It can be called a stealth now And just with the regulated tank and QGS silencer.. I lik -
Scope mounted lamp.
maty j replied to Sweeney-Todd's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Ditto. I use the Logun. I've only ahd It a week or so and find It pritty poor. The rabbits seem just as flightly In this beam as they are with the big lamps and the logun makes them much harder to spot. -
Bit overkill If he only uses 9x usually. Parralex adjustable Is just that you can move the objective lens around to get the picture crystal clear. I'm guessing your current scope doesn't have this? if It doesn't put the scope on 10x mag and try to focus at something around 10 yards away and It will be fuzzy or the picture will be fine yet the crosshairs will be fuzzy. Having an adjustable objective will correct that parralex error. I also use my AO to range find and find them really usefull.
