  1. Are you on R7OC? If so get a post up on there, I'm sure someone will have a spare. You may even find a fix for your existing valve.
  2. I don't know about the landys as i don't use one but adding another few slots for circuits I a good idea. Like you say then you could just run a hardwire and even have the femal jack socket up coming form the head liner If you don't want It cluttering up the gear knob etc. or even just loop It though to have one drivers side and one passenger. Just make up a longer loom If It keeps coming out. I've got a few meter flex on mine and I've never had that problem. As for the connections coming loose, Get ya self some of these, &w=100&sz=5&hl=en&start=15&um=1&tbnid=VultgG
  3. That looks like you would be adding a complete extra circuit to me. From the picture In the link It looks like you put It In the fuse box and run the power from there? Why not get a bullet to jack and run It from the cig lighter? I made up a similar loom for my lamp just with the proper connectors - Non of thses crappy cigar or jack plugs For 130 quid I wouldn't bother I just get a mate to hang out the window lamping whenever we go In the car but suppose It Isn't always practical.
  4. Out of interest what lamp was It? There was a fair supply on there stall at the midland but I don't know about the lamp + batt combos....
  5. There's a she wolf In his closet..

    AAWWWWOOOOOOO

  6. Mill dots are cracking IMO. Combine them with an A/O and you're laughing. I can accurately range find and It does help put game In the bag. I use a simmons without MD and find It really hard to get used to after having MD ret on both my other rifles. How much you looking for that simmons tdesnos? I've got a Walther 4-12x50 here that has a MD, IR, AO that Is just sat In the box.
  7. I'm still working on there now so It's handy for It to be so close to me. I've been out a few nights last week with my new rifle taking a couple on the local fields and there doesn't seem to be many about at all. There's a few by brun school, you just gotta watch the gyppos The was a litter of old cubs running on grassy lane and I went up one night before the fields were dropped for a squeek. We had one that wouldn't come close enough for a good shot. Apparently they have all be shot now I'll be back up there squeaking one night see If anythings left! Check ya PM's
  8. True It's not far from Demon tweeks, up past the old duracell factory way. It's an engineering place that does them as a bit of extra work. I'll get you the number If you need It?? He's got a shit load of cylinders there or did when I took mine so get It booked In and then you won't have to wait the week like I did.
  9. Aye If you want the gun to last a lifetime I suppose the stripdown and reblue will be worth It In the longrun. Even If It Is a PITA not having the gun for a while. I wasn't going to till my mate said he was going. Once he's done his morning feed we'll be off. 17 quid entrance fee Is daylight robbery then they want your cash when you get In too Robbing b*****ds!! The guy on x lanes has stopped doing the cylinders too. Emigrating apparently to do the same down under. I eventualy got a 300 bar bottle and had to take It to a guy on the ind est. He seems a sound guy though.
  10. It's the same on mine mate. The slightest spec of water or blood on and It rusts. It's a hunting rifle for me so I'm not too fussed how It looks but you do expect the blueing to last longer than It does, Especially on a rifle costing as much as the S400.
  11. Those spartans look good Apparently they "eliminate looseness in the crotch area" You don't get that from a harris
  12. Regulated guns are different, They all depend on what the reg is set too so most will be ok with higer pressure fills. Un regd guns, the extra pressure In the cylinder forces the valve closed quicker and on most the hammer/ spring set up Is'nt strong enough to open It fully which then reduces your power.
  13. The blueing on my s400 Is shit. Other than that a cracking rifle.
  14. That's not the point Droid - The BBC would never investigate anything as important....
  15. Your car pump will probably pump to 5 bar or so max. You will need about 200 bar or so for most PCPs.
  16. Nope, I never mentioned inflicting pain for the sake of It so don't know where you got that from The program was very one sided, as you'd expect from the BBC. After all they have done similar things with hunting In the past making all hunters look like monsters. From what I remember of the program there was no evidence of a dog being electrocuted either, Just all the power went off. I may be wrong, my memory Is crap and this program aired a fair while ago but remember watching It think It was more BBC bullshit As for the dog that looked like It had been blasted with a shotty, I can't
  17. What did I miss then?? I remember the dog fighting program and whilst I don't agree with dog fighting having a worm like that wiggle In and then grass you Isn't on IMO. What would you say If someone did the same on the hunting scene? Just goes to show you can't trust anyone
  18. I'm using the same FV and there great. Saves messing around with spanners.

    Glenn Waters DVD

Which one? I don't think any are being produced now..
  20. Stoppers are a PITA when they cut.. They take ages to heal and If not given the time will crack open again and your back to stage one. Not what you wanted to hear but least now you know...
  21. If you want pellet on pellet straight from the box..... look else where. The power Is very up and down due to the very simple valving. They give decent enough groups to usual hunting ranges though but they ain't tack drivers. They are a tuners dream though as there so moddable and then accuracy and consistancy can improve no end. I'm still not 100% happy with mine but It seems to be doing the job well so far. It should too the amount I've spent on It!
