He won't show any pics mate...otherwise he'd have done it by now. Brilawn....so why are you charging an extra £15 for the colour?
-
If you need to wear ya waterproofs in winter, then wear minimum layers. (typically at least a base layer and something to soak up the sweat). Once you stop walking, then get that extra layer on before your sweat freezes(nothin worse...bbbbbrrrrrrrrr). Like someone has already tried to point out, if your sweating too much in goretex, then your wearing too many layers.

I hope you dont advice from this bell end do you mate.

Get some pics up of this very, very rare "ginger" ferret!

jacked off with seeing ( 100% ) lurchers for sale
derbylad1 replied to jcm's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I had Meg (hancock bred bitch), who i got a litter from and that produced Coco(one of my current lurchers). However, when coco got to about 2 years old, meg just wanted to kill her for some reason, a real hatred. I didn't have the space for kennels and both lived indoors. Meg was a "one man-onedog" sort of bitch. I know for a fact if didn.t get meg rehomed then coco would have been dead. There were some other factors, that made me come to my decision. But i think a dogs health is the priority, not my well being of keeping both dogs. The good thing i know is...Meg is one very contented pooch no -

Probably mate there are a few, I came of most of those groups within days of joining them as realised was not going to be of benefit in any way to me. Some are not too bad but it just depends who is looking after them. And since most groups allowed all members to be listed publicly I figured it would be too easy for some do gooder to go on a print off a big list of all the members names... somethings going to change soon, just look at all the dogs in the homes! I don't want new laws made up about keeping dogs but it maybe for the better,, I was thinking something, like you -

The advertising is fine, as you do get genuine reasons for selling the dog. But the bull shit that goes with it is fecking unreal. "These pups will make fantastic workers" - how the f**k do they know, they 6 weeks old. "In the right hands it'll make a fantastic working lurcher" - Thats just tells me your shit and should never be allowed to own a working dog again. "Takes all legal quarry" - Great!, it can kill a rabbit and a rat....lol "Brilliant, 100% day and night" - well why are you getting rid and not offering a trial. In summary, yes some dogs need to be moved on, due to genuin -
i had a whole farm f****d up 2 years ago with the rains. might have a trip over tomorrow and see what state its in
-
welcome aboard mate....i've not been to strabane in years. My first ever patrol there...lol
-
well yeah of course.....actu ally i might even buy one. Ermmmm....25 quid you say?
-
15 quid extra, just because is a different colour. If any young lads just starting out are reading this, please realise colour dont make any difference on how many rabbits you catch, no matter how much they stick on the price.
-
I like her alot...i prefer the racier looking lurcher. But give it a year or and i'll change my mind...again, lol
-
How tall is she mate. in most of the pics she looks taller, but in this she looks a slip of a thing.
-
I agree, except that some of us ferret all of the above . . . . and more. I still think, it's very hard to beat a colie based lurcher for the ferreting, they just have the patience and brains required. Couldn't agree more. I've got coco (collie/grey/whippet), not the best lamping dog as she thinks too much, but by feck a great day time dog. I've been out with other lines/breeds and really missed her whens shes not there. Good nose, patience, stability and a real good mark.
-
and another night i was lamping a rabbit, as the dog ran up to take it out of its seat. there was a farm cat and a fox either side of the rabbit, just about to pick it up.
-
similar to me out night. In a big 30 acre field and a telegragh pole in the middle...yep you guessed it. rabbit ran straight into it after a 30 yard dash.

There can be compications like deformed kits, but not 100% guarenteed.
-
Good man. you got to realise that she is only a puppy and in theory she is already trying to hunt. Let her be what she really is....a puppy, and all the best with her mate. what breeding is she?
-
Definitly dont take her there anymore mate. It'll seriously sicken her, depending on her breeding she might even give up chasing them very soon. Fir example if she has collie in her, they tend to think too much and will come to the thinking, "i can't catch rabbits". especially if she cant at all. Get her to places where she wont see any and wait til shes physically and mentally ready to catch...then have your fun.
-
Yeah...defintitly not a falcon hawke .22. i have the hawke here, they are not the same.
-
Xena just getting back to fitness after being spayed 3-4 weeks ago. However she is back under the knife again tomorrow after running into something and has now ended up with a spike in her back. Only a small job, lets just hope these little incidents stay this way...little.
-
No offence i can well imagine mate. But £1 for 1lb of food. I know a couple have already they can source it cheaper, yeah you can at tescos'. If thats ya cheapest you can put it together then ya gonna be struggling to make any profit for at least effort.

I want this daytimeonly fella to come on here and explain, what is the reason to breed this micro ferret. Do they have a purpose? Surely he dont try and work such a poor creature.

England Gun dog and game fair
derbylad1 replied to iworkwhippets's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Too many folk getting on the band wagon of these shows/game fairs. even the small ones are turning commercialised and not really for the hunting community anymore. 10 quid is very steep and you just end up with the same old shit -
Please tell your gonna get f****d off. It makes my piss boil when i hear of folk taking about these strange breeds of ferrets...its total bollocks. Micro ferrets???? what the f**k use would they be...i've seen one and its sick. Anyone that breeds this sort of thing needs to get out of the game of hunting. Its on par with dicks who invent things such as the labradoodle.
