  1. I thinks its gonna be a nightmare to get the season started. It'll be nice to start in september but with all the rain and sunshine, the grasses will be high very quickly after the cuts. also the hedgerows will hold the cover for much longer...hopefully i'm wrong.
  2. Yeah no worries...for £300...lol
  3. lol....its not all the trees. just some big feck off branches over hanging some clinic
  4. I have a load of logs for free on collection from Gatley, near stockport. They came from a squirrel preventive job i did. Please Pm for my number and then i can arrange it with the customer for collection. Cheers Gaz
  5. firstly...whoever says he isn't a pedler...bullshit. he breeds dogs to make money, in my eyes he's a pedler. Secondly...he is not an honest dog man, like what has been mentioned. he will tell you the pups come from working lines, when? which dog? what have they done?...he has no answers. so what, that there are greyhound breeders and collie breeders and no one says feck all about them. but at least i can do something about it and not buy a pup from him. I'm 100% behind what graham is saying here. those breeding machine never get a run out, never get correctly socialised and are not
  6. Each to their own and glad you've got a gooden.......but ya still giving money to a tosspot puppy pedler. Personally i think its unethical the way he breeds the dogs, but like i say that only my opinion.
  7. She looks a nice sort mate and i hope she is doing well for you. Can i ask, why did you have an hancock? and not one from proven parents, there are so many about.
  8. i've owned one.....some shit, some bad. you should never buy one. lining the pockets of a puppy pedler and getting pups from untried parents.
  9. bump.......its going in the tip on wednesday. too many asking do i have it. then no reply, after i say yes. Why ask if you dont want it....very very strange
  10. The hutch and run is still here folks.
  11. Unbelieveable.......a free hutch and i've had folk saying "can you drop it off for me?" The hutch and run is still here, who ever wants, i won't deliever and its first come first serve. I've had plenty asking do i still have it and nothing has materialised.

  13. splendid....just looking forward to trying her out. still seems a long way til the season tho
  14. I have a 4 foot hutch, along with a 4 foot x 4 foot run here going for free. It doesn't come with the ferret wheel, but i'm will to let it go for £30. No bowls, water feeder, ferret sign or ferrets come with it either. I live in the Macclesfield (SK11) area. Can be collected dismantled or as it is. Cheers Gaz

  16. What about the dummies with a rabbit fur on it? Have you gone back to basics and tried that? Also she is only 10 month old, still a puppy and still might need extra time to be more level headed. Like you say, she retrieves everything else. You might need to be more intersting than the new toy (the rabbit she has just caught). i also agree with walking away...that can work well. Where abouts are ya mate?
  17. I've seen vans being used and then i have seen 8 miles being done. Now dont jump down my throat on this..in case i'm getting this wrong. But 8 miles on the road behind a van can be too excessive to the ankles & feet. but like i say, if the 8 miles is on soft ground then ya dogs will be ready for the season in no time. Got mine free running 40 mins in the morning and then 1 hour+ in the evening. I've one one in semi-retirement, so the other will get some extra behind the bike a couple of times a week. Nothing too much at the moment, just try and time their fitness coming in right fo

  19. Thats why its a good idea to wear a fairly tight base layer to wick the sweat and the have a cotton t-shirt over that to soak up sweat. Stops it staying under the gortex(or other watherproof jacket). Try the body armour t shirts or the helly hanson as the base layer. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=under+armour+tshirt&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=9534001880&hvpos=1t2&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=622063850676851487&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=b&ref=pd_sl_2ydvsp9zrj_b
