  1. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAY, WAY too much!!!! Half a mil is probably too much, even for a big, heavy terrier.
  2. Fantastic.....................sadly we don't have them over here.....................or the Purple Emperor , now there's a Butterfly I'd love to see. I'd like to breed Purple Emperors...but I fear they are far, far beyond my expertise.....There's maybe only one or two people in the Uk that have ever bred them....Amazing butterfly it is!
  3. Hummingbird Hawk looks like he's seen better days! I dare say he's ready for keeling over! ...great piccys!!
  4. Cortlands always been good. I've had good and bad with Airflo, they're cheaper and if you get a good line then it's as good as anything. However, there; seems to be good and bad in the same batch...
  5. Put donkeys on it. Donkeys must have a shelter to escape the weather. I believe this is the law. it's one step nearer a permenant structure...
  6. Dyktos, smear a bit of fat on those nuts for the LTT's....they love it!
  7. Going to go 100 pages this one I reckon....
  8. Another thing is to have a great telephone manner, and be very confident when you speak to customers. Go out and see them face to face rather than giving a price on the phone. Then once you're there you'll practically always get the job. There's a load of 'pest controllers' out there, too many in my area now, but the tide is turning and many are giving it up as they cannot make any money, never mind a living. But you'll never know unless you give it a go....
  9. One thing worth remembering.....save some money, 'Cos once the warm weather comes the phone will go quiet. From , say, June til October things can go awful quiet for a starter moler..... JMHO.
  10. This is a low res version of it....I don't think I'l ever be able to repeat this one... a proper blizzard blew through for about 20 minutes and I couldn't see anything, stood in the field exposed and trying to shield my lens from the horizontal snow. Then this hare came running from right to left and I managed to sneak off a couple of shots. This one i was happy with... I have thousands upon thousands of hare images in the snow, but this is my favourite.....
  11. Would you say spaying the bitch would help stop mammary tumors in the future? I know they predominantly occur in later years aswell as mastitis. If the lumps remain then what course of action will the vet suggest? Thanks for the reply Great advice from Skycat!! it's a young bitches body adapting to hormones etc... yes, spaying a bitch will reduce the risk of mammary cancer and pyometra (Obviously) in dogs by a huge amount. Spaying does not affect working ability, but, it all depends if you want to breed her in the future...
  12. The lads with the true working sealyhams would never sell pups. The pups that are for sale are all from pretenders. There's good sealyhams out there still, you just got to know where to find them. I saw some 'working sealyhams' at the Hound show at Peterborough and they were a complete joke. Alright if you want to do a bit of bushing, but for anything else they are unsuitable. IMO they've been 'recreated' for looks and £££££££ Also, IMO, there is no such thing as a 'pure' sealyham...only sealyham types....
