  1. only after 3 shreaded wheat Is that a wild polar bear or one in a park?...
  2. I'm still confused......so would a mal/grey X al/grey actually smash a polar bear single handed?
  3. Be careful - they will almost definately come back for the lurchers.... Ask the neighbours if they saw any transit vans in the area....
  4. I use darcon B-40 but i hope to make some fastflight material as it shouldn't stretch when i'm using it, i have bought a few feathered arrows which have a 60lb spine, i hope to make some arrows after. Yes fastflight is good stuff...and it's tough too. If i were you i would add a small 'something' for the nock to sit against, then you can get consistant arrow flight. Archery is all about consistancy. Like a bead so the arrows sits in the same place ever time, must do that thanks, Yes mate, but it must be crimped tight to stop movement. Glue will only hold it for so long imo...yo
  5. This thread needs pinning, we need a 'Hall of Fame' for this kind of thread.
  6. A Vet from Nam maybe? Purple heart..pppp, pppppp purple heart..He wasn't really sure wasn't really going on... The average mental age of a combat rouge poacher was .....nnnnnnn nine years,..... nnnnnnnnnnn nine years Flashbacks? Helicopters? Polar bears? Mermaids? Dik diks?Maluki's?
  7. His choice though taxi Driver... "Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down, Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on."

  10. Well, try putting rouge on your Malmute and see what happens. My mate did it and it killed full grown killer whale. And a Walrus. And a mermaid. Smashed them to bits. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the shade of rouge on the dog...
  11. I very much doubt a hare dog man would want any malmute in his dogs...... And as for a rouge.......I tend not to have seen too much blusher out in the field. Well, unless my dog pulls up....then its handy to hide my embarrassment...
  12. I can't say really as we never even got close to killing one. Excercised plenty but the dogs just sat in there slipstream. These dogs were good strong fallow killers but them beasts are a whole new ball-game ... I ran a couple and they seem more like red than sika and, they are to be found herded up with the reds too. Basically i would class them as a red when discussing the historical taking of them with dogs. Most people who didn't have the 'eye' for deer would think they were pure reds anyway....

  14. I thought Darcy would've popped back on with some answers. No one that's said they were easy has offered any explanation as to why. HAW HAW HAW oooooooohhhhhh FFs that's quality  cheered me up that did I reckon that he's currently writing another book where all will be revealed, I might offer him a couple of quid for him to explain why he thinks Sika are the easiest of all the deer. I'm curious, I never had a chance to run them but I did run other species, I find it a bit unusual that a deer of that size would be slower or have less fight in it than a CWD. Hi Kranky, so
  15. Just looked at the trap...I reckons its going to be another gimmick like those 'solar powered mole scarers'...
  16. So....are you saying that this GSD was slipped in on a run....., you doubled him up on rabbits on the lamp...and jacked on daytime hares???
