  3. [quote name='Cochyn' post='1245699' date='Sep 23 2009, 11:06 AM'Cheers CW. My old man said something similar and that I needed to step it up a bit. I've got a ferret and so will get her out in the near future. Also, going to ask one of the boys if I can get her out with him for a shine (to watch). The dog looks a cracker - very much like one of the sisters of my bitch in fact. Thanks Please excuse my Naivety but when you say Shine (watch), do you let him off the lead or keep him alongside you?

  5. Many Thanks for the advice to all, i expected that i would get a mixed bag of results. what is common in your replys though is that you prefer to feed BARF. i have never heard of this until i sign on here. could someone please give an honest breakdown of using this diet. how much it costs and is it easy. i am not saying that i want a low budget, easy life but i would like to seriously think about it.

I have just bought a Bull/Greyhound x Whippet, he is a lovely dog, could anyone please give me a possible size that he will grow, he is now 10 weeks old and is 12" tts. i would love to insert a picture but i am not sure how to do this yet? This is my first lurcher of any kind, could you please give me any tips on how to start to train the dog, i believe starting training them young is the best way forward. i am not on about running them but more on the lines of fetch and return etc. Any help
