Longdog is just an old bull shit term of a cross between 2 sighthounds it means nothing lol, besides a saluki lurcher could have 20 different breeds in it's blood albeit saturated with saluki but that's just the same as a collie or bedi lurcher, there just mongrels,there just lurchers..

That's a crackin pic but just to comment on what others are saying about weather n the moon n nights to go for a shine as you here a lot of lads saying lately about if you waited for the right nights you'd never get out n all that, I can sympathise with them but for me is wasnt just about not going because the moons up enabling you to struggle to drop on as much stuff as a good black night but the thing that keeps me in on those nights most is making sure I don't go n make the gear wise because that's what happens, so I just go daytime in those conditions until better lamping weather I thought

I'm not biased towards saluki x's I genuinly like all crosses that can do there job but can you elaborate on why other crosses are more and better suited to different terrains than saluki x's and also why is say a deerhound or collie lurcher more of a lurcher than a saluki lurcher..

If you look at the back ground of the pic of my old bitch I run n do as much on that sort of land ie sheep fields cow fields hedges woods wire fences moors etc as I do on open land you name it a lot of it not all is how you school them I think depending on what you want them to do, some people will just mainly go to big land that's there love so them dogs will struggle to perform if suddenly taken to smaller land all of a sudden, same as if you take a dog to big land no matter how much saluki or staying blood it's got in it if it isn't used to that land it will get dragged all over especially

Just hope he suits you and makes you happy some are just slower to come on than others n hope that's just the case I have known tho dogs that were a pain n real hard work weather running dogs or gun dogs to suddenly turn the corner n make good dogs, sometimes the age of the sapling at the start of the season n depending on were you are, chances and situations n that bit of luck and some early confidence all play there roles and can be difficult sometimes to get them the best start possible for them and that's the key ain't it...but atleast he's unspoilt as he is now isn't he,he hasn't done muc

She's really playful in the morning n really happy then after breakfast sleeps all day until there next walk don't even no she's there but when out in the field she's wired but in a good way..

Mushroom the sister to your pup is flying just running 1 or 2 each time I go as there only 13 month but she ain't missing much at all 2-2 last Thursday n 2-2 yesterday made up with her.

It's well possible if no standards if someone goes out a lot especially if work the doors or as said go on them datin sites but I just could never go for the any goals a hole thing just don't see the point if no chemistry electricle energy n attraction give me quality over quantity any day ; )
