My bitch couldn't pass the first I was real worried aswell I had to get the lube ono n help her get the pup ou, got him out ok n she was ok after that, hope your bitch n pups are ok aswell..

I find it funny how I can go out around august and kill a few half grown rabbits and get hammered for being a summer hunter. But the same lads will still be out ferreting in February and March killing loads of rabbits with young in their bellies. But that's okay because "it's still the season". A bit of common sense is what's needed. Not a calendar For me it's just about managing your dogs land n quarry best you can, also all places are different so if you've spots that's lifting with em n the ground n temps right then I suppose some can get away with it more than others, yeh you can get

Your right in that not long to go now so why the mad gold rush besides there's lads been goin well before this week they were goin July start of August , as in the dog gains nowt there's not many rabbits will put up much of a show to an experienced dog now there dumb as feck, yeh the best way to to get em runnin fit is to run em but no need to rush into that at this time of year there's plenty time for them to gradually get fitter as the season goes on n let's be honest they have to be that fit for lampin a few rabbits at the start anyway n fitness then comes into play as the season rolls on n

farmers say go ya gotta go bud Then that's different but none of the farmers Iv got permission off have ever got onto me in the summer n Iv got a few farms..they've usually got sheep lambs n bullocks out anyway so would prefare them bein left in piece plus if arable that's up anyway. I don't see a prob gettin a sapling a couple here n there when poss for gettin em going but can't for the life of me see any benifit in taking an adult dog out in August just killing there own sport n the dog gains nothing, not something that bothers me mind just don't see the point..

Not sure on performance as ain't tried one but them new hand held clu lights on eBay look like they could be handy, think there 50 odd quid n 3 hour constant battery life look to be durable aswell..

Big fan of the old shape hdi berlingo, I got the car version like you say not bad ground clearance,good on fuel,cheap parts. Don't know why some people slag citroen the few Iv had av been bang on..

Agree natural is a big cut above the rest massive difference but still like to give a bit of complete here n there, think nutrivet markus muhle and greenwoods are the best Iv tried n Iv tried feckin loads over the years lol

Did anybody get one of these how ya find it any good? I got one of these, made three different extensions out of the length they send you, so I can mess around until i find the one i like best, tightens the beam right up and reduces the overspill as well. Not used in anger but you can tell its a definite improvement if the spill and big spot is your concern. Got one of these now had a quick look last night on half cut just me no dog n it does seem to of improved it a little abit makes the torch look a right bodge up tho lol ; )
