  2. with you saying that id say the likes of drainage companys should be doing well, with flooding / burst pipes ect I should imagune so, but unless you get maintenance contracts with council, housing, etc then I guess you would be always 'chasing' new work. An ideal thing is something wherr you get a lot of repeat business, month after month

  8. Been out chopping firewood. Came across massive tree tgat had fell down in woods, so we went in with the landrover & a trailer. Its green bark, amd seems quite a dry wood. I cut a stump about 12inch in diameter. For a 'chopping block' amd the axe just bounces off it. The smaller pieces, I can split no bother

  13. Ive heard lads saying there Jack Russel's could catch a hare on the lamp not so sure about that. Hares on the lamp, can be a tough task especially if you were getting a 'grueller' or two. But said that, some do 'kill themselves' by doing stupid thungs like running into a fence, gate, or my favourite, a size 9 welly. We never ran hares for 'sport' just numbers, the more we got, the more ££ we got. Dint get me wrong, we never made a living out of it, but it covered the diesel. I used to love getting in.a field, quick run, and away to feck, hated the 'long runs'. To summarise,

The ground was still quite hard in places& the dogs took some tumbles, Tyson 'skated' into a pigmesh fence. We enced on a respectable 18 before the snow came thick a
  20. Best to have one, just to err on the side of caution. Especially if you have family in the house.. Anything that burns can produce it,
  21. Disconnect battery first. Undo wires, undo bolts. Remove. Put new 1 in, bolts in and wires back on simple job, even for me
