Dimmer switches are a god send if you ask me. Opening gates, getting over fences. Plus why have lamp on full 100watts, when a 20watts will do the same job

Nonesense if your gonna get caught poaching your going to get caught,if your that worried take up fly ball its safer. dimmer switches and filters are a load of bollox if your good enough on a lamp and got knowledge and field craft you'll catch the gear. As regards new lamps and equipment why not if your in the job buy the best quality you can afford, Iv had lithium battery for 3 years now, and I find it ridiculous people still buy stone age heavy battery's. Ok ill take up flyball. Never mentioned anything about poaching! Ive had it twice already since I started this season

The way things are heading, I cant see the point in them, lighting up the place for everyone to know where you are. Ill stick with my normal dimmer lightforce, using just enough light to see whats happening. Was out a few nights ago with my mate who didnt have a dimmer on his lamp, and by feck, when he switched it on (100w bulb) I thought daylight had broke through.

The lights were flicking so I set up a camera.... The vid is 100% I have not edited i etc When I walk past the cam, thats me going out the room, and I dont come back until vid ends... No1 else in the room..... Make of it what you will

following on from the revival of a woodburning stove topic, here is mine. Its a tigerburn 5kw. Brick built fireplace, and we sliced some bricks to make 'tiles' for the inset. Indian sandstone as a hearth and mantlepiece. did not need chimney lined. Cost of burner £350 Cost of bricks £150ish Chimney sweep £25 Installation £ Pot cowl plate etc.. £ Total about £685 sitting in front of it on a cold night with the family - priceless
