  1. Moscow, im more interested in the parents of the dog and I know the sire of my dog was highly thought of up this way. Thats why I got him. Could of been labelled v minshaw, J beadle, or n edmonds
  2. Heres a pic if my 'heinz' collie x poodle thingy, taken this morning. Say what you like about the 'strain' of these dogs, this wee fella is coming into his 2nd season & has already, this season, killed more in not even a dozen nights, than what some people will kill in a full season He was tested last season, north & south... And hell be tested agsin this season, harder, north & south
  3. This dog - Thinks he has the stamina of a minshaw but he hasnt as he found out last season ater both he & tyson ran one night, then the next night, and tyson was still running long after the black dog dropped
  4. Heres my little lurcher thats bred from minshaw stuff.... Chester x lilly Here is 20 he got last thursdsy, 15 of which he took from 1 field, nonstop action, run after run, except for a 2minute breather while we stored the rabbits for their taxi home Here is 12 he helped to catch the previous night, And 51 he helped with a few weeks beforehand, I wasnt counting, but he did the lions share, approx 30

  6. Tyson is a minshaw bred dog ..... ooops i mean lurcher to lurcher
  7. TONIGHT Well, with the wind howling, plans were made with the GH , despite growing concerns of when my baby is going to arrive. I trusted my instincts 'wont be tonight' Had a busy day with no time to make tea, I grabbef 2 tandoori kebabs and one for Gh and had 'food on ty he move' I arrived about 1015, and went in for the obligatory 'cuppa tea & a crack' although ive told gh hundreds of timed I dont drink tea Well, the wind had no buggered off well & truly, however the rain was persistant & the plans were already set. We decided to just take one dog, Tyson, le
  8. Thing about the camera mate, is that picture above, if I had dog with me, instead of camera, then I could if got in trouble
  9. Its just a cheapy fujifilm andy. A 'bridge' camera if that means anything... Not sure if you seen this pic on anothrt site, but its not a bad pic if I say so myself
  10. Im getting there daz Im much better with a 'still' shot than a 'action. But hopefully get better
  11. andy, the GH has always said that the 'larl dog' reminds him of chester. but I know that he is a long way off filling chesters boots. but he's doing okay for me, and when this moon buggers off, he will be getting put to the test
  12. Cheers lads Never weighed him, but he is quite a strong dog, hes got some pull, if hes on the lead, and sees something. I had him fairly bulked up over the summer break,
  13. a half decent bag, a MINSHAW X was used on this night... on this night, the batteries died before the dogs stopped
  14. Tyson from MINSHAW lines...... (CHESTER x LILY)
  15. Jazz, The dog that isnt in the pic is a beddy whippet bitch. The bigger dog on the left is 1/4bull x grey over a collie grey x saluki whip grey. The smaller dog, is off minshaw lines, or should I say lurcher to lurcher
  16. Cheers lads.. Yes it was a good tally, and it makes it even better as, those sort of numbers do not come regularly, locally.
  17. Well, I made arrangements earlier with gh to have a run, and as we new it would be good night, weatherwise. We decided to take young charlie out with us & 3 dogs. Which is not normally something we do, but we did tonight. I thought the pattern was set when I got out the motor and only had ONE slip lead! But we bagged a quick ten rabbits We moved to the other side where the action slowed, getting about 4 I think, and jet dropped one in middle of horse field! So we moved on, and got onto another spot. In ten mins the bag was full. And I had a few in my fingers...... ... CLICK

  19. I nearly did the ton tonight, I was only 91 short of it
  20. Well done them lads, I think I know who it was? Are them lads on, 'one for the pot' ?
  21. Didnt work on our big lamp just f u cked up the red filter! It worked well on my green & amber for a blitz
  22. Millet, you should drill a 25mm hole in the center of that filter, you will get a better beam, without losing the colour
  23. I just tear through the fields in a 4x4 and use headlights as a lamp. Its a lot easier
