  1. For me, it has to be GF II - for the story value, as well as the acting - both menacing, i think. GF I was good in it's own right as well, but the rest of the story comes together in GF II - with the history of the main characters that appear in GF I having their histories set out, which then leads you in to where GF I starts off. Regards, Grim.
  2. Not been here long myself but it seems quite a good crack! loads of friendly people Yeah - and I'm one of 'Them' ! Regards, Grim.
  3. Nice to see someone also has an S310 - well done mate!

Glad to have been of help to you bud. ;)

    All the best pal,

    Grim.

  4. No worries Tony pal - anytime. Regards, Grim.
  5. Hi mate, I have done what i said for you, we just need to sort out the getting of it to you bud. All the best, Grim.
  6. Why fill it upto 200 Bar - the maximum advised limit (by the rifle manufacturers themselves) is 190 Bar, and most of us AA users usually fill to around 180 Bar max anyway, as a rule? Filling to 200 Bar will do you absolutely no favours at all - except other than to limit the time that the transfer port on the rifle is open for during the shot cycle - thereby limiting the shot consistency by a different figure each time a shot is taken. Mate, you need to get out of that habbit smartish, like. Or else, you may find that it won't be that long at all before your rifle will have prob
  7. Hi Dawnraider, PM sent - "INCOMMING!!" Having fired it on a few occasions before now, and trying my lad (9 years old) out with it for size and fit, I would recommend the Air Arms S200 as a good all rounder for the young shooter as well as the others mentioned by the members already. I reckon all of the afore-mentioned rifles are good, but i have had no personal experience of those particular rifles - only what i have read before in the shooting mags, and so can't comment on them from the personal point of view. I have however, had experience of handling and shooting the S200 on ma
  8. Hi Karl, If you are talking telescope sights, then you could try looking Here - it's a guide i constructed to help anyone set-up a scope on an air rifle. I hope you find it of use to you mate. All the best, Grim.
  9. Dafyyd23, YHPM mate. Regards, Grim.
  10. Nah mate, I've given that up as a bad job - too much inaccurate information has been going into them these last couple of years for my liking - they were much better in the old days, i reckon. All the best, Grim.
  11. Cream cake my arse - Looks like a mother of a Doofus to me!! . . . . Regards, Grim.
  12. The Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah - very becoming! SS, you DO have good taste, after all. ;o)

    Grim.

  13. i shal sleep down stairs tonight with phone in hand as minor versions of this have appened before but nothing like this im not sure why people ask for advise and then dont take it??!! I know about bloat and i have tried to tell you what to do. I feel sorry for your dog if thats how little you value it. Although I don't own a dog NOW, I have owned several in the past, and so I agree with what you say Farlap - an old saying comes to mind here - "There's none so blind as them that don't want to see, and none so deaf as them that don't want to hear" And in some cases,
  14. Nah Jack, he's only on day release at the mo! A bit like myself - i have to be back on the ward before sunset (they lock the doors then, and then i'm buggered!) Nice to see you Sean - take it easy pal! Regards, Grim.
  15. 'Tess -

A good friend, a free spirit, and a pleasure to chat with!

    Keep at it, girl dear!

    All the best,

    Grim.

  16. Well she ain't that far wrong pal! :11: Regards, Grim.
  17. Well yes, they are - maybe not big members . . . . but they ARE members all the same! All the best, Grim.
  18. Caretaker, My S310 was owned by a left handed friend of mine (whereas i myself am right handed), and the original stock on it was a Beech ambi as well - similar to the situation you talk of. Now, as a right hander myself, i found i could use it very well, my left hand was on the forestock, and my right hand was on the handle and trigger, and when i needed to cock it, i just did so with my left hand whilst holding the rifle with my right hand - not too much of a difficulty i admit. However, i had my air rifle converted from the left handed system to the right handed system, and onc
  19. Mal, Don't you worry about the 'where; bud, i CAN get you all the glue gun ammo you will ever need. now, are your glue guns the full auto versions, by any chance . . . . Hmmmm? lol Regards, Grim.
  20. My Law, I really don't think you can know Sporting Shooter that well at all - if you did, you would know that he is not ' one of the irregular shooters you were on about' ? I mean, come off it, they don't hand out Centre Fire rifles to just any 'irregular shooter' now, do they!?! The words 'Engage', Brain' and 'Mouth' come to mind . . . . . Regards, Grim.
  21. yes mate, you would be wrong. The S400 does have a multi shot conversion, whereas the S410 is desgined purely as a dedicated multishot air rifle, this is what it does, all day long - and it seems to do it well. The multi conversion is a nice 'after market' thought of course, but it sometimes doesn't work that well, unfortunately. Regards, Grim.
  22. Hi Bunks, Have you adjusted the eye focus ring? also, you can get a blurred out view throught he scope if your eye is either too close to, or too far away from the eye bell of the scope? Hope this helps you some? Regards, Grim.
  23. AirGunner, I would have to say that, unfortunately (for you) if you do not have an FAC, then you will still be illegal in the sense that even though you are fully intending to try and make the rifle shoot below the legal limit by the addition of a silencer/moderator, the thing is, (when all is said and done) the air rifle would still be " capable "(in the eyes of the law) of producing more than the 12 ft/lb limit? At the end of the day, if you are to compensate for the drop in fps of the pellet velocity - on above limit air rifle, you will still be likely to get pulled bud, becaus
  24. Rob and Mad Al, Although I have read it, and can see the same as you both, the 22 power/FAC thing printed in the paper sounds to me like a right old crock of shite - cooked up by the press (who, let's face it, are by no means even anywhere remotely near a BASIC knowledge of this area!) to help them to get the picture across that they want the public to see, IMO. The laws [Firearms Act, 1968, and Firearms (Ammended) Act, 1997] between them, simply state that any air rifle EXCEEDING the 12 ft/lb limit will require an FAC to be applied for and be granted, before the rifle the rifle can
  25. I whole-heartedly agree with you there Sam, and I'd also rip his/her arm off to get one for that price (if i had enough of the folding readilly available, that is! ). Regards, Grim.
