  5. feck me..... I had one growing up.... 'polar bear' Lake man x man 850, and a fecking massive silver pole on the back of the house. Was talking to folk along way a way... It was a ritual, every night...all my friends had one.... I suppose it was the 80's equivalent of texting or facebook... We also built a mobile rig on a push bike with a 12v battery... Edited to add........ I actually still have the rig at my mothers.... dont have an aerial though. It did spend time in my Landy back in the day for laning...
  6. mega important to make sure the wood is properly seasoned, or it can warp when it is attached to the knife, and break the adhesive bond.. Keep it in the environment you intend to store it in, prior to sticking it to your Blank... I speak ............. from experience... the day before completing a friends present....

  16. yes, have a couple, the diamond is a decent scope... no complaints. The illumination is tiny, i use one to head shoot rabbits at night, without issues. I also have one on 6.5 x 55mm for stalking, I like. em.

  21. we're are seeing quite a few... couple a session getting shot. Last year... I went of a days walked woodcock shooting on the Isle of Bute, with three friends and a Guest 60 Y.O Frenchman, (Patrice) Joined us at the Island. We tried to get him involved with us as much as he could, but his english and our french were limited.. so it was sign language and gestures. I also think and strongly believe that by and through hunting, a balance in the wildlife of this country is maintained, that is a moral responsibility for everyone to understand and respect, not just people who live in rural environments. This is accepted however grudgingly by society as for example deer culls continue. The 'antis' have lived outside of any environment where maintaining the balance of wildlife has been a ongoing task. (Also, I believe that antis are folk who will fight anything that comes along, be it a new road or a bankers bonus. Banning/morality of hunting is just another
