Obviously that would be the rabiteer that didn't have a team of hungary ferrets to feed, who have gone off chicken wings, dry, liver etc etc etc.. Because mine blackmail me in to ferting or shooting every white tail out there lol just one unhappy look at me from their food bowl is enough to make get the rifle out. I keep everything i shoot, so shoot everything i can manage to process.. My opinion.. Fussy ferrets must be the breeding lol That and the bloody wife spoiling them....

Have to say i like most offal, cooked in most ways.. Tongue is lovely, as is brawn, pigs cheek, pigs trotters, liver, kidneys, hearts. Pork cheese is simply awesome.. Never had tripe, but will try it when its available. I'm salivating at the thought of it...

Interesting you should mention Bush and the credit crisis. An inteligent freind of mine thinks Bush and the rest of the west, have artificially created the credit crisis to put a hold on China's rapid development speed. By keeping funds tight, people will buy less and effect China's exports.etc An example was quoted (no citation) that Mersk usualy chater 4-600 boats a month, and they chartered 2 last month...Thus showing the scale of the problem. He thinks The west have identified China as their biggest threat and are dealing with it... Interest conspiracy theory..

Does Anybody Have Any Plans For A Ferret Court?
mattydski replied to louis123's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
Yes, joined to the shed. But there is no ferret access between the two. Similar set up to Scots, Mine only spend the day in there. They go in to the shed at night and if I am away from the house. There are 3 cages in the shed to the left. Hobs have their own cages, Jills share one Goodness what a lot of logs you have All the better to heat me with..... Matt -

The best thing to do IMHO is to find someone from here that will take you out and show you the ropes, better for you, better for the ferrets. Best of luck and welcome to a very rewarding sport. Matt

Hi Ian, i am calming down now but... I no doubt that it will not harm the ferret, but a vet is a supposed to be an authoritive source of information for animal owners. New owners would expect him or her to give accurate advice, perhaps taking that advice over an experienced ferret keeper. The vet is the expert after all??? The ferret as you quite rightly point out is not going to suffer any short term harm on that diet. My point is that it is not the optimum care for the animal, the advice given on an animal program, shown to millions should be correct. It is nothing like a dog, has diffe

John, I understand the need to obtain the object of desire that is the S+B, so would understand the need to make way by selling the surplus scopes you have. But in my experience, getting rid of a gun that has served you well...... Not so sure. I have on occasion sold/exchanged stuff to regret it later. Bereta's, Rapid 7's . b/a .410's all sold to much regret... So my advice is consider, then consider again... My .22lr is my favourite rifle for financial guilt free, trigger happy shooting. I would love an HMR for longer range work, but not in place of my .22lr... So scopes yes,

I dont normally sleep late at the weekend, so got up to watch some tele, and have a cuppa. What was on tele before river cottage repeats.....Pet rescue.... What was on.....a nice albino hob.. Vet says very authoritively " yes becareful with ferets, put those huge welding gloves on behind you in case he bites, grab him from behind so he cant bite you, firmly now...." TV presenter put the mother of all leather gauntlets on, and goes in straight to the kitty cage an pulls out the now terrified fert.. " oh yes" says the vet, "this was found abandened in a car park..shocking it is

Definately good advice there. I would roast in a hot oven until just cooked, times are dependent on oven and size, shape of joint. I beg to differ, that model has a different hair colour....... I think it is Manic Mandy with machine washable apertures.... Ahhh,it appears we have a Agalmatophiliac in our midst,a latex conniseur,I meant the MK2 "Extreme-dream" model, for the discerning pervert Touche.. I have to admit i'm no expert in plastic, i prefer 'dama de viaje' although not so hygenic IMHO Matt

Go with Snappy on this.. Lightforce it is.. There is a new lightweight battery on sale from DEBEN, Lithium type, never used them ,but compact and light. Not cheap though. Me, i take a couple of 7amp/hour batteries and change when they dim. Cheap as chips. But i am tight.....
