  2. The line of airedales being bred are from boar bear lion anything with fur on hunting lines. Probably wasting my time typing this as the blinkers will probably remain on. Ive been looking into getting a dog from where the breeder is to over here, a bit costly but do able, and with the help of an airedale on the sharp end of the pigs it'll be worth it.

  4. A mate has a similar photo of a stag at bay, a bit closer up and not so good quality (20 year old + and enlarged too much). Good luck with selling copies. Looks good.

  10. Been a great thread, and fairplay to you lads for discussing the dog/s like gentlemen. I hope this thread continues to run in the same vein. "These is a code of cinduct that the NWTF and the FMWTC do not teach young terrier men, not that these morals or principles need to be laid down, they are as follows 1 when given a terrier in good faith and you want to breed from it have the decency to ask the previous owner 2 Ask the previous owner if he/she wants a pup 3 Ask the owner about where surplus pups should go" If I was given a pup or an adult, I think out of respect to the

  13. why not write to the editor and tell him your concenrs and make suggesytions....that way theres a good chance you will see the kind of articles you want to see. Much more productive than just slagging it off on here Farlap, I dont think anyone is that naive. (not meaning to be rude, but it is what it is).
  14. Havent read it for a very long time, but by the sounds of things its not improved since I last read it. Someone forwarded me an article a few years back that I was interested to read and was shocked to read anti terrierwork comments. Dispicable.

  16. Next place dug it at least 4 times now, farmer always lends a hand on the backfill.
  17. Whats your thinking behind that? Smooth fox terrier. Smooth in the background. (now retired at 11, holds at the end of a dig, snipey headed).
  18. Glad to hear the judge believed your side of the story, (all charges dropped) and that when the plaintiff said NO he actually may have meant YES. Hope you can put it all behind you (pun not intended) and get on with your life.

  20. If youve got plenty of land and can hunt varied quarry above and below, you would have a lot of fun with a jagd terrier. But I would also recommend getting on first name terms with the vet before hand, for supplies or maybe a loyalty card,, LOL In my experience they are a cracking terrier, but if you havent got the work, they could be a 'good dog gone bad' vert easily. They are super crazy for work,. Admirable traits but for me a few undesirable traits come with them.
  21. Didnt think hed been away that long?
