    Similar knife???

Bladetech are good little sharpeners, very handy, but also a bit harsh. The 'Spyderco Sharpmaker' is very good and easy to make knifes 'scary sharp'. & they are preset for putting on a back edge, equivalent of a regrind. Most butchers only sharpen knives, most send them to a sharpener for a re-grind,.
  2. Wow, would like to try one of these fellas, alas far to far atm.
  3. This rough fox terrier bolted 1 last Friday, caught him up and put him back into the same sette and dug him with 3 more. (photo of dog from a year or so back) Next day dug to another small rough fox terrier (below) twice, 1st dig = 1 bolted and 3 dug, 2nd place dug 1. Trouble being, when the game dont wanna just sit there, the fox terriers ive seen cant hold 'em.
  4. See my last post! Lousy Lying Bast**d fits tho. . . Ric I am genuinely shocked that a person who claims such a qualification has such poor spelling, punctuation and grammar. I'd be shocked if I believed that he holds any such qualification. I could claim to be the hereditary Emperor of China. Proves nowt. I'm starting to think that he shouldn't have been sentenced to prison though. He's clearly as mad as a snake. Should be banged up in Broadmoor with the rest of the loonies. Take him out for walkies on a lead once a day.   Well, as I was always to
  5. LOL, yes it werent the greatest of ratting dogs, BUT, thanks to those lads the public now has it in their head that using a dog to kill/catch something isnt such a bad thing, so I say well done fellas keep it up.
  6. Joking aside. You are not going to get many badgers to bolt, although it does happen it is rare. So for the benefit of your dog, dont put your 'bolting' dog in any place you are not prepared to dig to him, & as for digging in stone,,,,,,,,,,,,,good luck. By the way, your looking for a new terrier, what did you keep before?
  7. Noel, must be a tough time, feel for you.
  8. Thanks for the head up about this game, doubt I will ever need to leave the house to go hunting again,,,,,,,,,,,.
  9. Voted for mini roll, only beacause pink wafers werent on there
  10. I can span my dogs head.,,,,,,,, only joking. Worrying about spanning a dog is way down on my list of what I consider important.
  11. Say hello to blighty for me. Enjoy your holiday.
  12. Worth getting out of bed for, and tax free by the sounds of things,,,,,,,,are they looking for a replacement?
  13. Seeing more than 1 dog to ground saddens me, my own work single handed and thats that. But a lot of lads I dig with will double up, ive seen 3 to ground aswell,,,,

    chained

Some dogs are better on a chain set-up than others. You just need common sense and swivels.

    drugs

Agree, the way some carry on; sounds to me as if they need a joint or at least a woman.
  17. Good luck with the fella. Looks like a cross between a teckel and a wheaten. Anyone tried that x ?

    drugs

Over the years ive dabbled, and just lately things have got out of hand, when I first tried, it was with friends, and at the weekend mostly, bit of a cliche, but I was doing it more and more in the week, The first main signs that I was getting an unhealthy liking was when I was going to sleep thinking about it and waking up thinking about it. Its my family I worry about, are they affected? Ive got friends where this has taken over their life and when I am around them, things get worse and worse and we are planning the next time and then the next. If ever you are offered the black stuff, j
